Hi friends! 🌿
I wanted to take a moment to reconnect with you.
The past season of my life has been full — beautiful, challenging and a lot of opportunities for growth. Marriage and navigating personal growth asked more of me than I expected, and somewhere along the way my own practice (and posting here) became quieter.
The practice of yoga has always reminded me that it’s okay to pause. To breathe. To meet yourself where you are — not where you think you should be.
I’m slowly finding my way back to the mat, back to routine, and back to sharing space with you — and I’m happy to say that classes will be resuming soon ✨
If you’ve been feeling off, out of rhythm, or just needing a gentle grounding, know you’re not alone. I can’t wait to move, breathe, and reconnect together again 🤍

Honestly, how terrible does it feel to be angry? 😡 It’s bloody miserable! ☹️ Anger is all too often used as a tool to ‘get what we want’ or to vent frustration 😤
In a fit of anger, one cannot do any good and in the final analysis, anger hurts you more than anyone else 😔 Anger doesn’t make one’s life better and there is no upside to anger. It never actually solves anything. It is unproductive and destroys a person’s peacefulness 😇 It also causes a breakdown in relationships, because in a moment of anger you lose empathy and cannot understand what someone else is feeling 😌
In a moment of anger there is zero awareness of ourselves as spiritual beings, temporarily residing within a material body, and zero awareness of the soul or spiritual being of others 🧘
It is described in the yogic texts that spiritual advancement or growth is stunted by feelings of anger towards others. Why is this? Because ultimately, anger separates us from the Supreme and as a result we cannot experience any peace of mind or heart ☮️
So what is the cure for anger ~ forgiveness 🕊️ Forgiveness is not a matter to be taken lightly. It’s not saying, “I forgive you” but deep down you still hold onto the anger. It is also not denying that what is wrong is wrong. But, when will we know peace if we don’t learn to forgive? 🫴 To forgive is to set yourself free from anger that causes tremendous suffering for everyone 🤲
