Parfums Astraux Oud Velours

There’s a moment right after something burns where everything feels still.

The place is the same, but also not. The air is thick, and what you smell is not just smoke, but what’s left behind.

Oud Velours captures that exact moment.

At first, it feels direct and almost intrusive. The burnt wood comes in strong, painting a picture that feels real and a bit rough around the edges. It can remind you of a barn, a stable, somewhere where wood and air have always existed together, now changed by heat.

But it doesn’t stay in that intensity.

As time passes, the fire fades and the scent becomes quieter. The wood feels heavier, slightly damp, and more grounded. It’s less about the burn and more about what remains after it. There’s a calmness, but not the clean kind. More like something that has settled into itself.

Oud Velours is not about being instantly liked. It’s about change.
If you give it time, it shows you how something sharp and raw can turn into something deep and lasting.

Scent Description

Oud Velours opens with a dry, burnt wood note that feels raw and slightly harsh at first. As it settles, the smoke softens and reveals a damp, resinous oud with a quiet balsamic warmth. The drydown stays balanced between charred and smooth, holding onto its smoky edge while becoming deeper and more rounded over time.

Hunger of Gold

Short Description

A dark, smoky green scent built around a cannabis-like edge, wrapped in dry woods and birch tar. Deep oud and warm resin give it weight and depth, while rose and to***co stay subtle in the background, barely touching the surface.

Story

Gold is meant to shine clean.
This one doesn’t.

It opens with a faint trace of rose, soft and distant, almost unnoticeable.
Then the air shifts. Green, raw, slightly unsettling. It takes over slowly, like it was always there waiting.

Smoke follows.
Dry woods rise through birch tar, rough and burning at the edges. The canna-like note stays present from start to finish, shaping everything around it. Oud settles underneath, dark and steady, while resin adds a slow, warm weight to the air.

Rose and to***co never disappear, but they never lead either. They stay in the background, like memories you only catch in passing.

That’s where the hunger lives.

Not in sweetness. Not in softness.
But in that green-smoked depth that keeps pulling you back in.
