Don’t judge a mother who lets her kids have screen time, minsan, iyon lang ang moment niya to pause, to breathe, and to just exist without being needed every second. You may see a child in front of a screen, but you don’t see the pagod, the mental load, at yung endless na responsibilities na dala niya araw-araw.

Not every moment needs to look perfect. Hindi lahat ng nanay may luxury ng help, support, or even enough rest. For some, screen time is a lifeline it’s how they get a few quiet minutes to reset, to gather strength, and to keep going.

Motherhood isn’t a competition. Walang medal for doing everything the hard way. What matters is that she shows up, she cares, and she keeps trying even on the days na ubos na ubos na siya.

So instead of judging, choose empathy. Instead of side comments, offer support. A little understanding can go a long way, lalo na sa isang nanay na tahimik na lumalaban araw-araw.
