Senator Erwin Tulfo criticized the Blue Ribbon Committee hearing conducted by the Cayetano bloc, alleging that politics played a role in the inclusion of certain officials in the flood control controversy.

The senator also suggested that those who speak out or oppose certain groups are being targeted, adding that legal action is being prepared against individuals whom he accused of fabricating stories.

Tulfo, who was elected Blue Ribbon Committee chairman under the leadership of acting Senate President Win Gatchalian, said the committee’s flood control hearing will proceed on June 8.
