Aside from feeding the strays, I also spend a little time playing with them and petting them. Food fills their stomach, but love fills their hearts. In those small moments, I hope they feel that they are seen, that they matter, and that even for a little while, they are not forgotten.
Sometimes the greatest kindness we can give is not just food, but time, gentleness, and love.

🐾😅 “Patiently impatient” — that’s Delta every morning.
Those big, hopeful eyes say it all…
“Are we going now? How about now? NOW?” 🐶
He waits quietly, resting his head like this,
but you can feel the excitement building up—
tail ready, energy loading, heart just eager for that simple joy: a walk outside. 🌤️🐾
Sometimes, I realize…
Delta doesn’t need much to be happy.
Just time, presence, and a little adventure.
And maybe that’s a reminder for us too—
to slow down, appreciate the little things,
and not keep the ones who love us waiting too long. 💛

This Lent, we remember the greatest act of love the world has ever seen. ✝️🐾
Jesus didn’t just suffer… He chose the cross for you and me.
He carried our sins, bore our pain, and gave His life so we could have hope, forgiveness, and new life. 🤍
Just like our furry friends remind us of pure, unconditional love… Jesus showed the ultimate kind — a love that sacrifices, saves, and never gives up on us.

There’s something humbling about today… after feeding them, the stray dogs didn’t just walk away—they followed us, as if saying thank you in their own quiet way. 🐾
They looked so happy, so light… no worries about tomorrow, no burdens from yesterday—just living in the moment with full hearts and wagging tails.
Maybe there’s something we can learn from them: to let go, to trust, and to find joy in the simplest things. 🤍
