CANDELARIA WELCOME ARCH (52 YEARS OLD)

Ang Candelaria Welcome Arch ay isang konkretong istrukturang nagsisilbing mahalagang palatandaan at simbolo ng pagkakakilanlan ng ating bayan. Katulad ng mga welcome arch sa maraming bayan sa Pilipinas, ito ay nagsisilbing tarangkahan ng komunidad at pinagmumulan ng pagmamalaki ng mga mamamayan.

Ito ay itinayo sa pamamagitan ng pondong ipinagkaloob ng Pangulo at pormal na pinasinayaan noong Setyembre 11, 1973. Pinangunahan ang seremonya ng pagputol ng laso ni Cipriano P. Maliwanag, na noo’y alkalde ng Candelaria at Pangulo ng Quezon Mayors League.
