TAGBILARAN CITY — Mayor Jane Yap announced the completion of several key infrastructure projects funded entirely by the City Government under its "zero-loan" development agenda:

Cabawan Road Concreting Project (Phase 1): Completed just in time for the new school year, this newly paved road improves connectivity to Tagbilaran City, Cortes, and Corella, while offering a smoother commute for students and residents traveling to and from Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School–Cabawan and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) facility.

O. Zamora Street Project: Located in Barangay Taloto, this completed road concreting project significantly upgrades local road conditions, ensuring safer, more comfortable daily travel for motorists and residents during the challenging rainy season.

According to Mayor Yap, these projects are part of the city's broader Tagbilaran Urban Development Plan, aimed at delivering tangible infrastructure benefits directly to the community without relying on outside loans.
"These are concrete projects with tangible results—projects that our people can see, experience, and benefit from every day," Mayor Yap said, highlighting the administration's focus on combining responsible fiscal management with progressive development to enhance public services and mobility for all residents.
