I have nodules in my throat, and I also developed masses in my lungs, with another mass located near my spine. I am currently being treated and monitored by five specialist doctors, as they have different approaches and recommendations for managing my condition.

I was advised to undergo a PET scan. The public hospitals that offer PET scans include East Avenue Medical Center and PGH. There are also private hospitals that offer the procedure, but the cost is at least ₱100,000, excluding the other tests required before the PET scan. In total, the expenses could reach around ₱200,000, including the PET scan itself.

Because of this, I am still very far from receiving the actual treatment I may need, such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy, to help reduce the size of the masses that have spread throughout my body.

My current condition right now umiinom lang ako ng pain killers dahil umiiyak nako sa sakit kapag walang pain killers and I've been taking it almost 3 yrs. By then, nahirapn din akong huminga tapos sa throat ko naman nahirapan akong lumunok kapag umiinom ako feeling ko sinasakal nako dahil sa mga nodules sa throat ko. My ENT doctor advised na full thyroidectomy na daw ako, but the downside lifetime ako magtake ng medicine for hormone balance.

I have a lot of regrets in my life na sana ganito Ganon, and dumating sa point na hopeless nako, pero mabait ang Dios at sobrang makapangyarihan sa lahat , God have his own ways para hindi ako mawalan ng pag asa.
