Designed by renowned Filipino designer Mak Tumang, the national costume called “Festejada” took inspiration from some well-known festivities in the Philippines, such as the Giant Lantern Festival in Pampanga, Pahiyas from Lucban, Quezon, and Panagbenga in Baguio.
