OPEN-TO-PUBLIC HIKING ACTIVITY

After carefully monitoring the latest weather forecasts and hourly updates for 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆), we have made the difficult decision to 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆.

Current forecasts from our screenshot imagery indicates 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟱:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟬:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠. While the weather is expected to gradually improve afterward, the rain during our scheduled hiking hours will significantly affect our itinerary and overall experience.

More importantly, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆. Since our 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗸𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴, and considering the continuous rainfall over the past several days, there is an increased risk of rising water levels and possible flash flooding along the trail. We cannot compromise the safety of our participants by taking unnecessary risks.

We will continue to monitor the weather closely and reschedule the hiking activity once conditions become safe and favorable.
