|Morning|
Aleesha stood beside the edge of the bed Twanisha was sleeping on and she was holding a stainless plate and spoon in her hand. She giggled and suddenly she struck the plate with the aid of the spoon several times, causing Twanisha to spring up from the bed in a sudden jolt, screaming as she fell off from the bed.
Aleesha bursts into a feat of laughter, pointing a finger at a frowning Twanisha. Twanisha slowly rose from the floor, hyperventilating and as she was about to snap,Shilah cleared her throat, calling her attention.
Twanisha quickly glanced at Shilah and when their gazes met,she suddenly stood stiffly with her hands beside her as though she was rooted to a spot.
“What is the time,Twanisha?” Shilah asked.
“I don’t... know.” Twanisha skeptically replied.
“You don’t know? Haaa...” Shilah sighed and with a finger, she manipulated the curtains to move aside.
Twanisha glanced at the nearest window and when she saw that it was already morning, her shoulders drooped.
“I can see that it is morning—“
“We are approaching noon, human.” Shilah sternly said.
Twanisha returned her gaze to her and she was a bit fidgety “I was so tired from last night. Besides,I hate waking up early.” She said.
“That is where you are getting it all wrong. You do not decide when to wake up as it is part of the training.”
“What training,Shilah? I don’t understand. I am here to find a cure to my illness. I do not need some goddamn training.”
Shilah slightly frowned,“Then... you should not be here. You can decide to leave now and no one will attempt to stop you. We do not force anyone to live amongst us. You are free to decide for yourself.”
Shilah and Twanisha stoically held each other’s gaze for a few seconds. It was as though Shilah’s gaze was commanding and Twanisha quickly looked away.
“Get dressed.” Shilah said.
“We didn’t come with any clothes.”
“Your wardrobe is fully stocked with clothes in your sizes. You should thank the all knowing Revered Master for his act of kindness. I will be outside. Don’t keep me waiting.” Shilah said, she then turned and she began walking towards the door.
When she was gone,Twanisha grunted while Aleesha walked past her to get to the wardrobe.
“Arrrgh! I hate it when she talks to us as though we are kids!!” Twanisha snapped.
“Well,I don’t mind being a kid for her. She’s worth it.” Aleesha said, staring at the wardrobe thoughtfully as she was standing in front of it.”
“Yeah yeah,” Twanisha rolled her eyes. “You could be her dog or her cat. As a scumbag,it is something you would naturally do.”
“Nah. I think I am obligated to be attracted to as many women as I want. Besides,I still adore Rishonda above the others.” Aleesha said and when she opened the wardrobe doors, she whistled astonishingly.
“Why dayuuumn! Come check out all of these stuff.” Aleesha said.
Twanisha scurried to get to the wardrobe and when she stood beside Aleesha, she was awestruck on seeing the clothes that occupied the wardrobe.
A smile slowly crept on her face and she said, “Girl! I think imma live here forever.”

The sisters walked behind Shilah as she took them on a tour around the castle. To their surprise, the castle was so big that it could be regarded as an estate. There were many empty rooms and they were shown a portion of the castle grounds which were sometimes occupied by the new gods.
A distance above the castle, they could see an enormous levitating piece of land which looked like a floating city and Shilah had explained to them that that was where the old gods, the new gods, angels and the Revered Master lived in harmony.
She also explained that the beings who occupied the land below were seen as lesser beings while the beings who occupied the land above, were called the highlanders or the surface dwellers.
A creature living in the land above has more authority than any other creature below and therefore, they were giving a great amount of respect and are likened to the gods.
She also explained the hierarchical system that governs the realm of the gods. The Revered Master is known to have existed long before the other gods surfaced. To them,he was seen as the supreme deity as he wasn’t affected by time, matter, space, race or ethnicity.
He could be a Chinese deity,a Slovakian deity,a Hindu deity,an African deity or any deity at all and that’s because he possesses the ultimate power to do so.
He was said to be chaste and above sin and corruption and Aleesha was skeptical about Shilah’s explanations as she thought that Shilah was likening the Revered Master to the Christian God.
She wondered why angels occupied this realm as she had believed that angels were only closer to the God of the Bible.
She didn’t want to ask,as she had thought that it didn’t matter and when they moved out of the castle, two pairs of white wings appeared behind Shilah’s back to their immediate surprise and it snapped open, displaying its beauty and eccentricity.
She turned to face them, “Come with me. Your master awaits you.” She said, offering both of them her hands.
“What Master?” Aleesha asked,
“You will find out when we get there. Give me your hands.” She said to them reassuringly.
Aleesha and Twanisha gave her their hands. When she held them securely, she flew into the sky with a frightening speed and she was approaching the highland.
The sisters were squealing excitedly as they could feel the air in their faces. As Shilah moved into the clouds, the sisters looked below and they could see the vast beautiful forest on the highland and buildings that looked like castles on it.
Each distinctive castles were brightly colored and there was a golden river flowing from one point on the highland and it flowed out of it,creating a large water fall at the edge of the highland.
The point the water hits on the land below was covered by a dense fog and all kinds of rainbows stood above it.
The sisters were so awed by the beauty of this place that they thought that they were in a fairytale dream.
Slowly,Shilah began to descend from the sky and below them,Twanisha could see a court and some men were rigorously sparring in it.
When their feet touched the ground,Twanisha was shocked to see that all the men were as tall as giants and they were all dressed in armors of splendor.
They were all different in a distinguished manner and they looked like they came from different races.
“Who are they?” Twanisha whispered to Shilah.
“New gods. This is were they train to keep their forms.” Shilah replied.
A loud laughter suddenly erupted, distracting the new gods and when they glanced at the other side of the court, they could see two higher beings sparring.
Twanisha was taken aback on recognizing them.
It was Raguel and the god with blazing red hair and they seemed to be having an intense duel. But to everyone’s astonishment, the god was wearing a blindfold over his eyes.
Raguel hovered in the sky whilst holding a lightning bolt in his hand. And when he threw it at the god,he quickly blocked the attack with his very large shield.
“For a beast god,you are sloppy,Raizen!” Raguel said, slowly creating a ball of light in between his hands.
“That’s what you think! The more noisy you become, the more easier it is for me to tell where you are!” Raizen said.
Raguel chuckled silently and when he had created a large ball of light with lightning sparks moving out of it,he quickly shoots it at Raizen.
But Raizen had sensed a massive energy coming his way. Swiftly,he fuses his shield with his armor and he began to grow in size.
As the ball of light hits him,to Raguel’s surprise, his body absorbed it,causing every strand of his red hair to burn fiercely and his initial tanned skin turned bright orange.
“This is not good.” Raguel muttered underneath his breath with wide eyes and before he could make a move,Raizen suddenly shoots a large beam of light at him. Even though Raguel had quickly blocked the attack with his wings which were acting as a shield, the force was so great that he was pushed into the sky.
Raizen looked into the sky. His body slowly returned to its normal size, also his hair. He was smiling as he watched Raguel fall from the sky and when he hits the ground,Raguel rose whilst flapping his wings vigorously to put off the fire on it.
“Show off. You really know how to ruin the game.” Raguel said, pouting his lips whilst frowning.
Raizen chuckled,he then returned his sword behind him. When he removed the blindfold,he smiled.
“You are too noisy. I thought all angels spoke fewer words but your kind, you speak with your full mouth.” Raizen said.
“You should have...” Raguel glanced at the spot Twanisha and Aleesha stood as he heard somebody suddenly squealing joyfully and on seeing that it was Twanisha,a smile blossomed on his face.
“I never knew we had spectators coming. I would done my very best.” He said.
Raizen glanced at them. Twanisha was clapping excitedly and her gaze was fixed on them. He frowned, sighing as he returned his gaze to Raguel.
He raised a brow when he saw that Raguel was happily waving at her and then he sighed.
“You are already friends with the human?” Raizen asked.
“Not really. I just think she’s an adorable one. And I seem to like her aura.” Raguel said, smiling as he shifted his gaze to Raizen.
“You like her aura? Raguel,” he chuckled lightly. “Don’t tell me that you are already beginning to like the human.”
Raguel suddenly blushed, “No,I don’t. That’s not even possible.”
Raizen smirked. “Hmm—“
“Excuse me!” Twanisha called and Raguel and Raizen quickly turned their heads toward her direction to see that she was approaching them.
Twanisha was grinning from ear to ear and when she stood in front of them, she bowed her head.
“Greetings,Highlanders. I am humbled to be standing in front of you both.” She raised her head as she spoke, still grinning.
Raguel raised his brows. He was surprised at how casually she had greeted them and when he glanced at Raizen,he flinched on seeing that Raizen’s gaze was condescending and it was as though he was irritated.
“Even though the Revered Master had overlooked your ignorant behavior,by now,you should have known how to behave while you are in front of the gods.” Raizen harshly said, but Twanisha was smiling at him as though she was unfazed.
“Ah yes,I could tell that you are a god. But what god are you? god of war?? god of fire??? Or... you are just an angry god???” Twanisha thoughtfully asked, but Raguel knew she was trying to tease Raizen.
Raizen scowled. “Are you trying to ridicule me,human?”
“Oh no,” Twanisha grinned. “How dare I? I wouldn’t want to do so and then let you choke me to death. Except you are willing to choke me in a pleasant way,then... do choke me,big boy.” She flirted.
Something in Raizen’s head snapped and his anger tripled as though it was fueled. Raguel could sense it. And knowing that this could spell trouble for Twanisha,he quickly stood in between Raizen and Twanisha and he was smiling nervously at Raizen.
“Ha! Don’t tell me that you weren’t able to get the joke,hm? Come on,Raizen. The human is just being as sweet as she is. A funny one too.” Raguel said, clamping a hand on Raizen’s shoulder as he spoke.
“Do you believe that whatever she had said was a joke!?” Raizen snapped, slapping Raguel’s hand off his shoulder.
“Raizen—“
“You should be able to tell a joke from an insult!” Raizen bellowed, and this time, his hair blazed a fury red.
“Oh dear.” Both Aleesha and Shilah muttered underneath their breath as they were watching the scene unfold in front of them.
“This human is...! It is an act of disrespect for her to say such things to me and I am going to teach her a very vital lesson!! Even though the Revered Master had said that she is one of us,she should know her lowly place!!!” Raizen yelled and immediately,he unleashed his sword.
Fear gripped Twanisha immediately as she wasn’t expecting him to react in such a manner. But to her surprise,Raguel’s armored wings snapped open, and he spreads it sideways, shielding her from Raizen.
“I will not let you hurt a soul,Raizen! You know how much I hate it when a human life is lost! You will return your blade from whence it came from!” Raguel scowled.
“Do not tempt me,Raguel! Step. aside.” Raizen defiantly scowled as he held Raguel’s gaze as though he was ready to smite him.
“Wh-What do we do?” Aleesha whispered to Shilah. She was already panicking as she was scared for her sister’s life.
“Stay here.” Shilah said, snapping her wings open and when she flew to where they were,a sword suddenly appeared in her hands and quickly, she stood beside Raguel whilst clutching her sword and she was facing Raizen.
“Raizen! You will not raise your sword on the hunan! As her guardian,it is my duty to protect her! And if you wish to hurt her...” She ferociously pointed her sword to him and Raizen was taken aback.
“You will have to go through me!” Shilah viciously said.
He glanced from Shilah to Raguel and seeing that they weren’t ready to back down as they held his gaze defensively,he closed his eyes as though he was trying to control his temper.
His blazing hair slowly returned to its normal form, then he turned around to face the opposite side of the court and when he secured his sword behind his back,he began walking away from them.
“Do as you both wish. Protect the human for all I care. But do let her know the consequences for being too discourteous and impudent. Her disparaging, yet flippant behavior could cost her her own head. And again...” he glanced over his shoulder and his gaze was fixed on Twanisha.
Twanisha held his gaze and upon seeing the anger in his eyes, she lowered her eyes as they became sullen.
“Do advice her to stay away from me.” He said, facing front and he began walking away.
Shilah glared at Twanisha. She was very mad at her. And when Twanisha raised her eyes to meet Shilah’s gaze, she sighed.

Twanisha was sitting on a windowsill as she watched the beautiful setting sun. She was in deep thoughts. Earlier on,Shilah had scolded her and Aleesha said nothing to her as she was very much angry at her.
She was alone in the room and each time she thought about Raizen’s reaction, she would constantly sigh.
Shilah had explained to her that Raizen is one of the gods that shouldn’t messed with. He is the popularly known Beast King or god of the beasts which explains why he has wolflike ears and a tail.
She had also stated that he had a very ferocious temper and no one dares to get on his bad side. But to Twanisha, she could tell that there was something about him that makes him different from the rest.
She couldn’t place a finger on it. But each time she looked into those intense red eyes of his,she could see a being capable of a lot of emotions and more.
To her,it was as though he was hiding a pain from the rest of the world. A pain he desperately needs to cure.
‘But What is that thing he keeps hiding within himself?’ She thought.
She rose from the windowsill and as she was about walking away from it,she heard loud flapping of wings and immediately, she turned to see what it was.
To her surprise,it was Raguel. His brightly colored wings folded itself behind his back as he stepped into the room and Twanisha was so excited to see him that she was beaming as though she had just won a lottery.
He approached her. “I apologize if I didn’t use the door. I was so worried about you that I had to come check up on you. To see if you are fine, that is.” He said, smiling down at her gently as he stood in front of her.
“Oh I am fine,Alright. It’s so sweet of you to actually drop by. I had wanted to thank you for doing what you did back in that court. If you hadn’t handled the situation like that,I wonder what would have happened to me.” Twanisha said and she too was smiling.
Raguel scoffed, “Don’t mind,Raizen. Sometimes,he could behave in a crazy way. But I know who he is. He is a gentle god and he will come around soon.”
“I guess so,” she sighed. “I was so terrified when I saw the way he was ready to take my life with that enormous sword. It made me feel a bit terrible afterwards. I mean... I am only human. I am not even capable of any harm.”
“I know.”
“I just wanted to get closer to him and maybe, make him a friend. I was sad when he treated me as though I was nothing. I get that he is a god and I am a lesser being, but why is he a god if he can’t tolerate humans?” She asked, subtly holding his gaze as he spoke.
Raguel slowly crouched to be on the same eye level with her. His gaze was filled with gentleness and warmness. He took her hand and gently,he stroked her knuckles with his thumb.
It looked so small in his hand that he thought that it was adorable. Being well above seven feet as angels could reach up to ten feet tall ,she looked like a human doll in front of his eyes... something he could own and keep.
He sighed,“Do you still feel terrible?” He asked.
“No. Your presence only brings happiness to me,Raguel.”
“You are meant to feel that way. And I am happy that you do.” He smiled.
“Can I ask you a question?”
“Sure.”
“Why are you in a realm such as this? I thought all angels are in heaven,a place where God dwells. It is shocking to see a lot of angels here. Why is that?” She asked perplexedly.
Raizen chuckled softly,he then let go of her hand as he held her inquisitive gaze.
“Angels and demons are polytheistic beings. In every religion,we are likened to be submissive to a supreme deity. There are angels in all forms of religion. In Islam, angels and demons are prominent in the Quran as we are also well spoken about in the Christian bible. Buddha had also spoken of his encountered with angels,Krishna of the Hindu religion had also met with some of us and many other religious deities as well. We are not subjected exclusively to one religion alone,we are in every religious manuscript and it is sometimes confusing when one thinks that angels are just beings who inhabit the heavens. No. We inhabit other realms as well and also,we do not belong to one religious god.” He explained.
“I feel selfish to have thought that angels are just exclusively for Christians. I should feel ashamed of myself.” She said and Raguel laughed.
“Well,God the supreme deity,is not a religious one. He has no religion. Hence,we do not abide to only one religion as well.”
“Then,I think the Christian religion is the best there is.” Twanisha smiled.
“That is where you are getting it wrong. No religion is better than the rest. What is important in the end is your heart and your deeds, good or bad. Most humans are living a very religious lifestyle, but they have evil nestling in their hearts. They pretend to be good, but then they are the demons that roam the earth in human form. They do good things publicly in the name of religion, but their private life is something you could spit on. The most disgusting thing about most humans are, they like to assume, they are judgemental, they are quick to criticize a person or a thing and they can do it all in the name of religion. Sometimes,as a human,it is best you do not rebuke a person for his or her character, sins or misdeeds. Because at the end,he or she might be better off than you and might find favor in the eyes on the one who created everything and watches over it.”
“Do you mean... God?” Twanisha asked.
“Yes,Tee. God is the one who makes the judgement and not humans or we higher beings. Some of the things you could judge a human for, could be less of sin to God. That is why it is important for every human to live a life full of good and not evil and also, tolerance. Learn to tolerate every human regardless of character or sexuality.” He said.
Twanisha smiled, “You are so full of wisdom. It feels as if you just answered all the questions I had wanted to ask.”
“More like killing two birds with one stone?” He smirked.
“Indeed.” Twanisha giggled.
Raguel straightened up and he was staring down at her smallish frame with a soft smile on his face.
“You are very beautiful. I think that... well,I think I am going to like your kind of person.” He said.
Twanisha suddenly blushed on flinching. She then said, “Really?”
“Yeah. You are going to do well while staying here. I hope you find a master who is willing to teach you the ways of the gods—“
“That will be difficult,Raguel. Shilah had said that I needed a god’s guidance to help master it and an angel to guide my path. Every angel here is attached to a god. I can tell that you are Raizen’s angel. And worse, all these gods are fu***ng proud!” She said, stomping her foot on the ground.
Raguel laughed dramatically and to Twanisha,it was amusing to see. When he was content,he crouched in front of her and he was smiling.
“Gods are meant to be proud. That is why they are still flawed unlike the supreme deity and the Revered Master. The Revered Master is the only being that is placed in charge of every realm and he is to make sure that there is balance, equilibrium and equality in all realms. New and old gods are not like them and that is why you don’t have to judge them.” He said.
“Well... I understand now.” Twanisha said, averting her gaze.
“If that is so,then I should be on my way. I should return to the highland. I wouldn’t wish for Raizen to go in search of me.” He said.
She quickly glanced at him with sad eyes. “So early? I thought you were going to stay for a while.”
“I wish I could. It would only be disastrous if I do so.”
“Then uhm... can I...? Can I appreciate you with a little gift for a brief moment??”
“Sure...” Raguel was a little bit skeptical about what gift she wanted to give.
“Close your eyes then.” She said and she was smiling.
Raguel closed his eyes and for a brief second,Twanisha was staring at his adorable face. She lifted her hands, reaching for it as she moved closer and when she gently touched his cheeks,Raguel’s eyelids fluttered as though the warmth of her touch was electrifying.
With her fingertips, she traced his well-trimmed,white brows. Her eyes admired his white eyelashes as they were very full and long. Behind those eyelids, were a set of the most beautiful blue eyes she had ever seen and when she inched her face closer to his,she slowly wrapped her arms around his neck and then... she gently touched his lips with hers.
She was trembling from within. Her eyes were tightly shut as though she was scared. She couldn’t tell why she was tempted to do this, but she couldn’t stop now. And if he was going to reject this, she wouldn’t mind.
When Raguel felt her lips slightly touching his,his body suddenly stiffened. He opened his eyes. He could see her hesitation and he could sense her fear.
This was his first ever contact with a human, but he wasn’t blinded by the fact that she was attracted to him. So instead of worrying,he moved his hand, holding her head from behind with a hand and he began to kiss her back.
Twanisha was stunned. When he brought her even closer to deepen the kiss, she quickly clung to him as his lips slanted gently across hers.
She kissed him. Sweeping his mouth with her tongue to taste him and to her surprise,he tasted good.
She began to kiss him hungrily... heatedly...
Overwhelmed by her consuming lust, she groaned throatily when she felt his long tongue moving into her mouth. She liked the fact that he was doing to her whatever she was doing to him. And when she became languorous,Raguel broke off from the kiss.
“No... don’t... don’t let me do this to you.” He said, his cheeks were so red and his eyes were dazed.
Twanisha didn’t want to let go of his neck. Her eyes were still closed as she had never thought that he could kiss this good.
“Twanisha...”
“Don’t stop. Please. Please, keep kissing me.” She innocently said, slowly opening her eyes.
“I can’t. Twanisha...” he lowered her arms from his neck and he stood upright. “We shouldn’t be doing this. Haaa...” he sighed.
“I have to go.” And before Twanisha could say anything more,he quickly turned and he began walking to the window in a brisk manner.
His wings snapped open from behind him and in a blink of an eye,he was gone.
Twanisha fell to her knees, and she sat on the heels of her bare feet. Her eyes were staring at the window he had just moved out from and when she thought about how well he had kissed her,a smile slowing crept on her face.
“So you like me,Raguel. I guess my stay here will be very interesting to my liking.” She said.

When the sisters entered the swirling light and they came out from the other end,to their surprise, they were in a place that to them,it would difficult for anyone to describe properly even if they were to try.
The grass beneath their feet was very lush and green, the sky above them was really blue with several other colors in contrasting highlights and it was very clear.
The sun shone brightly in the sky. The air was warm and dry. Natural hanging gardens and mountains floated in the air and extremely tall and exotic trees were scattered around, creating an incredible ecosystem.
Flowers of all kinds blossomed beautifully as they carpeted the grassy grounds.
Butterflies flew around in random motions accompanied by fairies and pixies and the loud chirping of birds sounded like a sweet melody in their ears.
Several unimaginable creatures were moving around in groups, unbothered by their presence and Twanisha was so overjoyed and ecstatic at the same time that her eyes kept glancing from one place to another.
“Lee,this is paradise.” She said, throwing her hands up as she inhaled the air with her eyes closed.
“Haaaa...” She sighed, giggling when she lowered my hands.
Aleesha was bewilderedly staring at a group of centaurs that were taking a walk together. Though they were her favorites while growing up as a child, she was so shocked to see them as she had always thought that their existence were a mere fable.
As Twanisha glanced at her,she smiled on seeing the surprise on her face.
“Take a picture of them if I were you. To save the memory.” She said.
“Ye-Yeah. Sure.” Aleesha stuffed her hand into her pocket and she quickly brought out her phone. She was about taking a picture of them when suddenly, someone snatched her phone from behind her.
“I wouldn’t be doing that if i were you.” A voice said and when they quickly turned around to see who it was, they flinched on seeing a very tall woman in front of them
She had very white skin. Her hair was blonde with turquoise highlights. Her lips were as red as velvets and her eyes were cerulean blue. She looked very slender and she was wearing a white flowing gown with a brown girdle about her tiny waist. Overall... she was extremely beautiful.
“I see that you both are the ones that I am expecting. My name is Shilah and I am your chaperone.” She said, completely destroying the mobile phone in one squeeze and Aleesha flinched.
“A chaperone? Sweet!” Twanisha grinned.
“Yeah. We needed a tour guide and then the heavens sent a really beautiful woman to us. I feel humbled by your presence,Shilah.” Aleesha flirted, smirking as she spoke.
Although Shilah’s gaze was condescending, she was staring at Aleesha, fascinated by how bold she was to have thought of trying to woo her.
“Referring me as a tour guide sounds insulting. Humans... you should know how to speak formally to a being like myself.” Shilah said, slightly frowning at Aleesha.
“I apologize for calling you a tour guide,beautiful...” Aleesha moved closer to her with the intent of flirting. Although Aliya’s height could be regarded a very tall, standing in front of Shilah, she looked shorter.
“You must be a goddess because your beauty radiates effortlessly like the sun rays and I must confess,I am stricken by it.”
“Nice try,” she pats Aleesha’s head as though she were a child and Aleesha felt embarrassed by it. “There are better things to focus your energy on rather than focusing it on this. I am not of your kind.” Shilah said.
“Then what are you?” Twanisha asked.
“An angel...” Shilah replied and both Twanisha and Aleesha flinched.
“If you are wondering why there aren’t wings behind my back, you should know that we don’t always walk around with it. Now come with me,the ceremony is about to commence.” Shilah said, turning around as she spoke.
“What ceremony?” Aleesha skeptically asked.
“Souls like yourselves who had passed the test are to be made gods by the Revered Master. It is therefore a glorious celebration. You will get to meet other gods and angels alike. Hurry up. You do not want to be late.”
Aleesha and Twanisha followed her as she began walking down a path.
“You will be meeting a lot of higher beings,so I implore you to behave yourselves...” Shilah said, passing a look of warning to them over her shoulder.
“Do not approach a higher being in whatever manner. When conversing with one,you are to lower your gaze. And lastly,do not speak to any of them informally.”
Twanisha raised a brow. “And what if they are the first to approach us? How do we—??”
“They won’t. They are more concerned with other things rather than your presence. With time, you will get to know your place.”
“For an angel, you are somewhat snooty. Pride must be your problem.” Aleesha boldly said.
Shilah smiled. “I am not proud. I am just making sure that I do my job well.” She said and she did not turn to look at them as they kept on walking.
They were approaching what seemed to look like a very elaborate castle. It was painted in white with burnished gold and precious stones used as its decor and it was basking in bright rays of light with all its glory. It was so beautiful to behold that anyone who did look upon it,would marvel at its magnificence.
They could see magical beings of all kinds; Faeries, fairies,Sprites, pixies, unicorns, centaurs etc, moving into the castle. As they themselves moved in,Aleesha and Twanisha was bedazzled by the interior decor as they had not seen such flamboyance and eccentricity used in sculpt works and the arts.
When they came into what looked like a large hall, they could see beings of all kinds moving to stand in groups.
“Stay here and don’t move an inch. When the Revered Master appears, make sure to bow your heads.” Shilah whispered to them.
Twanisha’s eyes were all over the place. A distance in front of where she was standing, she could see beings dressed in elaborate, heavily decorated attires standing in rows on each side of a throne seat. Some of them held staffs of different kinds while the rest held strange symbols in their hands.
They stood very tall and proud, like cosmic giants. And it didn’t take a while for Twanisha to realize that they were actually gods. Angels were hovering above them, flapping their beautiful colored wings.
Twanisha admired their attires, she was about shifting her gaze from them when she saw a very tall and burly man approaching the throne seat.
There was a large sword which was as tall as him hanging behind his very broad and well chiseled, muscled back. He was wearing dark clothes and his biceps which were very visible were so unbelievably big that it was frightening to see.
Golden bracelets adorned both his forearms and the regions above his biceps. He had wolflike ears on each side of his head and a long, hairy tail behind him.
When he turned to face the gathered crowd as he stood with the other gods,Twanisha gasped silently on seeing his face.
She would have sworn that she was just staring at the most handsome person she had ever encountered in her entire lifetime. He was so handsome and beautiful at the same time that it was stunning to see.
His adorable head sat on a long yet broad neck which was adorned with a set of golden necklaces. His straight hair was a blazing red and it was long that it stopped below his buttocks. Thick black eyebrows, long full eyelashes fluttered above his eyes which had a golden hue at first but on closer observation, his eyes were of a subtle reddish color.
High cheekbones, long prominent nose that went down to a set of firm, kissable lips. His jaw was squared and beardless and there were golden paintings on his cheeks and forehead which spreads out to his thick arms.
Each god and goddess had distinctive golden paintings on their bodies just like his and at that moment,Twanisha knew she had fallen in love with him.
He was frowning and it was as if he was not happy to be standing amongst them. Twanisha watched as an angel descended and he stood beside him. The angel’s wings suddenly disappeared and to Twanisha’s acknowledgement, the angel was so handsome that his face was dazzling.
Unlike the god,his hair was long and white and it was held in a ponytail behind his head. His skin was a pale white color and he was as tall as the others. He was built powerfully, but he wasn’t as burly as the god he was standing beside.
He had a faint smile on his face and when his sapphire blue gaze suddenly met with Twanisha’s,his smile broadened, causing her to blush and she quickly looked away.
“F**k! He caught me staring.” She muttered underneath her breath.
After a short while, she returned her gaze to him to see if he was looking at somewhere else. She flinched on meeting his eyes again and this time, her face reddened as though she was embarrassed.
She quickly crouched, hugging her knees with her face buried in between them.
“Ah s**t! Why is still looking at me!?” She muttered again.
“Is anything the matter?” Shilah asked, her tone was calm.
Twanisha shook her head from side to side and she said, “I think my eyes hurt. I am fine. Don’t bother about me.”
Shilah raised a brow in disbelief. She then snorted and then she returned her gaze to the gods in front of them.
“You do well to behave yourself. Remember that this is not the earth realm. Things are done differently here. Now rise. The Revered Master is here.” She said.
Twanisha raised her head and she saw a bright light descending the throne seat and when it slowly dimmed, she could see a man seating on the throne and he was dressed as a Chinese emperor with an elaborate headgear(a Mian Guan) resting on his head.
The “Mian” refers to the lacquered board placed on top of a Guan (usually is a large crown that covers the entire head), with a square edge at the back and rounded edge in front. Twelve strands of jade beads draped from the two ends, with their colours in the respective color order: White (metal), yellow (earth), green (wood), red (fire), black (water).
His face was so bright, making him look majestic and Twanisha was smitten by his ethereal handsomeness that she couldn’t stop looking at him.
‘Why are these men so fu***ng handsome!?!?’ She screamed in her head.
Everyone in the hall went on their knees and they bowed to him by placing their foreheads on the ground. Everyone except the angels, they were only standing with their heads bowed to him.
Twanisha and Aleesha quickly followed, but Twanisha would peek to see his face gain.
“You can all rise now.” The Revered Master said and everyone rose to their feet.
His voice was so pleasing to hear that Twanisha instinctively clung to Aleesha as she could feel her knees wobbling to the sound of it.
The Revered Master rose to his feet. He took three steps forward, and his golden eyes were staring at everyone in the hall.
“I heard that we were going to be receiving visitors in our realm. The ones in pursuit of their happiness. If so,can they step forward please?” He said.
Shilah quickly glanced at Twanisha and Aleesha, but Twanisha shook her head in disapproval as she began to panic.
“Come on,Tee. I think he is referring to us.” Aleesha said with a lowered voice.
“No. I don’t think so,” Twanisha swallowed. “I think we should wait a little while and then—“ she was saying when suddenly,Aleesha grabbed her wrist and she began to pull her along as she briskly walked to meet with the Revered Master.
“Leave me alone,Dammit!” She yelled at Aleesha, but Aleesha kept pulling her along.
And when they stood few meters away from the Revered Master,Twanisha suddenly froze on the spot on meeting his intense gaze. Aleesha bowed her head to him,but Twanisha was standing as though she had just seen a ghost.
A smile slowly crept on the Revered Master’s lips, then he approached them.
“Unlike your brave sister,I see that you have fear in you, child. Do you not know what you are here for?” He asked Twanisha.
Twanisha was trembling tremendously as he stood in front of them. He stood so tall, well above seven feet and he was staring down at her with a harmless smile on his face.
Twanisha was mute. Her lips quivered as she couldn’t find words to say to him and when he crouched in front of her,he offered her a hand.
“Even though you look small and fragile,I can see that you are brave and strong. Your fear only defines your brazenness. You came in search of a cure to that which fights to claim your life,Twanisha. You should be happy that you are here. You should be happy to be standing in front of me.” He said.
Twanisha glanced at his palm. His fingers were long and slender and his palm was smooth and white. When she slowly placed her hand on it,she felt a wave of calmness hit her cores and she gently smiled as she lifted her eyes to meet his.
“I am happy to be standing in front of you, sir.” She said.
“Sir!?”
“Such insolence!”
“How can she refer His Majesty as sir!?”
Angry murmurings erupted from the crowd. But suddenly, someone hits a large bell and when the sound reverberated, everywhere became very silent.
The Revered Master tenderly stroked Twanisha’s knuckles with his thumb. When he let go of her hand,Twanisha gently placed it on her chest whilst holding his gaze.
His gaze was subtle and his smile slowly folded as he straightened up. He was staring at the crowd in front of him and then,he frowned.
“Do you think that I felt disrespected by her casual greeting? Even if she did that knowingly, isn’t she a harmless soul??” He asked, but no one dared to answer.
“She is now one of us. She is to learn the ways of the gods and here, she will be living amongst us. She should be treated with kindness... human or not.” As the Revered Master concluded, the crowd bowed their heads to him. Twanisha watched him turn around and he approached the throne seat.
Immediately he sat on it,she shifted her gaze to the gods and when her eyes met with the god with the blazing hair, she quickly blushed but the god scoffed and then he looked away.
“Come girls, you are obstructing the procession of the ceremony.” Shilah said, she was coming toward their direction from behind.
Twanisha and Aleesha turned to face her. They were surprised to see that Shilah was smiling at them. Shilah slouched her back to whisper to them and her hands clutched her knees.
“You did a great job. It looks as if the Revered Master is pleased with you both. Now,I can guarantee you that your stay here will be something to remember.” She said to them.
Twanisha and Aleesha glanced at each other and when they returned their gazes to Shilah, they smiled contentedly.

After a long while, the ceremony ended and Shilah led them to the room they would be staying in as the darkness crept slowly. Twanisha’s stomach was grumbling. She was so hungry that she almost fainted while walking and Shilah was kind enough to have asked for food to be brought to them.
When they got to the room and Shilah opened the door for them to step in,their jaws dropped to the beauty in front of them.
Their room was very grand and resplendent, with the opulent comfort of a King’s chamber. The bed was king-sized,covered with sheets and beautiful squared pillows. There was an elaborate wardrobe standing in one corner and beside it,stood a very vast dressing table and large mirror.
The room was painted in white and the ceiling was made out of transparent glass which makes the heavens visible to the occupants.
There were large windows covered by golden curtains and everything about the room was transcendent and palatial that it was awe-inspiring.
A knock was heard on the door and when Shilah opened it,three ladies with butterfly wings flapping behind their backs moved in holding trays of food in their hands.
“We hope the visitors come to like the food.” One of them said as they moved to a table with chairs surrounding it in a corner and they lowered the trays on the table.
“They surely will. Thank you,Sativa.” Shilah said, smiling.
“You don’t have to thank me. The Revered Master had said that we should treat them with kindness. They are a part of us now. And someday, they will be ordained as gods.” Sativa said.
Twanisha and Aleesha watched as Sativa and the others bowed their heads to Shilah, and when they were gone, she turned to face them.
“Are they fairies? They look bigger than the ones i have seen.” Aleesha asked.
“Yes,they are. The ones you saw are fairies. These are faeries and Faeries are the ones that are more taller in appearance than the fairies.” Shilah explained.
“But they are the same, right?” Twanisha asked.
“Of course.” Shilah replied.
“Do they live in flowers?” Aleesha asked.
“They do. You should not be worried about what or who they are. Instead, you should be worried about your stomachs. Your food have been served to you. Except you are not hungry and yo—“
“I’m hungry. Don’t mind my sister,” Twanisha quickly scurried to the table excitedly. “She serves in the army. Hence the reason why she is tough and she could survive going without food for days.”
Aleesha quickly twirled to look at Twanisha and she was frowning.
“Who told you that? I am hungry, moron! Now don’t finish that food without me!” She hurriedly approached the table as Twanisha was already seated in a chair while lifting a bowl of soup from a tray.
Shilah watched as the two sister began arguing over the bowl of soup as Twanisha refused to let Aleesha have some of it. She smiled, she then leaves the room whilst closing the door behind her.
Several minutes passed, the sisters sat in their chairs feeling very satisfied and overfed. They both sighed, smiling satisfactorily as they rubbed their swollen bellies.
“I have never eaten a food so delicious as that.” Twanisha said.
“Me too. I feel so full of food and s**t.” Aleesha said and they both giggled.
The curtains behind them fluttered and swayed and when they turned to look at it,they could see someone moving into the room through a window. Suddenly,Aleesha picked up a table knife while Twanisha picked up a fork as they rose from the chairs alarmingly.
When the person moved the curtains aside and he stepped in whilst running his fingers into his long white hair in a stylish manner,Twanisha gasped on recognizing who he was.
“Who are you!? And what do you want from us!?!?” Aleesha snapped, pointing the edge of the knife at him.
When he lowered his gaze to the knife,he raised his brows in surprise.
“Oh... pardon me,I do not mean any harm.” He said.
His voice was deep, manly and sensual and Twanisha was staring at him dreamily.
“Then, why are you here!?” Aleesha asked.
“I am Raguel. An angel. I just came to say hi to you both. If my presence offends you, then I might as well take my leave—“
“No! No,don’t leave.” Twanisha quickly approached him and she was staring at him as though she was smitten by his appearance.
“Stay. I want you to stay.” She said, holding his gaze willfully.
He was the angel who had stood beside the god with the blazing red hair and she had thought that he had a very seductive smile.
“My name is Twanisha. But you can call me,Tee. She is my sister. Her name is Aleesha, but you can call her Lee.”
His lips cornered in a smile and then he said, “Nice to meet you,Tee. I wish I had a shorter way of calling my name.”
“Then,I will call you Raggie.” Twanisha said and surprisingly to her,he laughed.
“That is satisfyingly good. Raggie. I think I like that.” He said thoughtfully.
“I like it too.” Twanisha chuckled silently.
“I saw you staring at me during the ceremony and I thought it was best for me to introduce myself to you. I know you are wondering why. It is just that... I find you to be very interesting.” He said, smirking at her.
Even though he was so tall against her shorter frame, she could stop gushing over him.
“Ah... you are... you are so lovable.” She said absentmindedly,as though she were enchanted.
Raguel could see the lust embedded in her eyes. He didn’t feel offended by it as he thought that it was something to be expected from a human.
He slouched his back as he reached for her chin and when he cupped it delicately,he was staring into her eyes as though he could read her soul.
“Do not look at anyone with such eyes, human. You are cute and adorable, but not everyone will be able to stand it. I like your courage to want to... well... you are human after all,and I—”
“I think it is you who needs such advice,” Aleesha quickly moved his hand away from Twanisha’s face and she stood in between them whilst scowling at Raguel. “You came in here like a thief and even if you are some angel, why didn’t you use the damn door!?”
Raguel smiled sheepishly,he then straightened up.
“Ah the protective sister. Well... you are right. I should have used the door. But then,I only came to feed my curiosity.”
He glanced at Twanisha who was equally staring at him with dazed eyes.
“I will see you both tomorrow,” he turned and he began walking towards the window. “Rest now. Your training starts as the sun rises.” He said.
“What trai—?” But before Aleesha’s sentences could trail off,his wings suddenly snapped open from behind him and he flew out of the window with an incredible speed.
Aleesha snorted and when she heard Twanisha’s sigh from behind her,she quickly turned to face her.
“He is just so handsome. What a magnificent being he is.” She said, sighing again afterwards.
“Pfft. You always fall prey to men you deem attractive. Use your head! He is not human.” Aleesha bluntly said.
“Well I don’t care,hm. I think I like him. And not only that,I got someone I would love to meet too.” Twanisha said, smirking.
“Who?” When Aleesha saw the mischievous grin on Twanisha’s face, she frowned. “Hey! Don’t tell me you are going to continue with your foolishness here,Tee.”
Twanisha giggled, she turned and she slowly approached the bed.
“Oh no. He is a big boy. And I love big boys.” She grinned.
