We are deeply saddened and angered by the brutal r**e of 10-year-old Fatima in Ranipur. This terrible incident has shaken us. The pain and distress this has caused cannot be ignored any longer, and we must address the ongoing problem of violence against women, which is often rooted in unfair power imbalances.

It's incredibly important for us to come together and support women in asserting their rights through education and gaining financial independence. We also want to reach out to the men who believe in fairness and equality, asking them to stand with us in helping women break free from the cycle of oppression and the burden of shame.

We urge all civil society organizations, no matter their main focus, to prioritize the empowerment of women as a fundamental part of their goals. By working collectively in this direction, we can strive for a future where such dreadful incidents become a thing of the past. Let's imagine a future where everyone is treated equally, and kindness and respect prevail.
