Ingredients: Harfi (Star Gooseberry), Pure Mustard Oil, Red Chillies, Himalayan Salt, Turmeric, Fenugreek, Aniseed, Black Pepper, Mustard Seeds, Fennel, Ginger, Curry Leaves, Sugar.
Precautions: Ideally, keep refrigerated and consume within 4 weeks. If you choose to place it in a jar, please ensure that the top layer is always covered with oil.

Kianah is bringing you something fun, fresh and fruity with the Star Gooseberry. Shaped roughly like a little green star or mini pumpkin of sorts, this tart tasting berry is a native of the South East Asian and South Asian regions. The fruits, leaves and roots are edible and are used medicinally as well as in poultices, relishes and cooling drinks.
Health benefits include claims of acting as a blood enhancer for the liver by Ayurvedic medicine in India and to improve bone health, rheumatism and asthma.
What we at Kianah love most of all is the efficacy of the plant in skin tightening and treating skin conditions like acne, from within. And we don't mind a little fun snack while we're at it 😄

Looking for seaweed! Maybe some of our future products can incorporate seaweed and thereby provide the much hyped about benefits as well. This is definitely research in progress for now.
Apparently, red, green and brown seaweed have their own benefits. Seaweed Powder can be obtained from each but more so from a type of brown algae called Ascophyllum nodosum, also known as kelp or rockweed.
Benefits are said to include emollient and purifying properties due to the presence of nutrients such as Vitamins B12 and E, amino acids, and iodine that help balance oily, acne-prone skin.
