الحمد لللہ آج جے کے شوگر مل یونٹ 1 نے 2023-2024 کے سیزن کے لیے گنے کی کرشنگ کا باضابطہ آغاز کر دیا ہے۔ آج جی ایم پلانٹ اور جی ایم کین نے مل کر کرشنگ کے عمل کا افتتاح کیا۔ آج میرے لیے یہ دیکھنے کا ایک ناقابل یقین موقع تھا کہ ایک شوگر مل اپنے کرشنگ سیزن کا آغاز کیسے کرتی ہے۔ مجھے ایسی منظم اور حوصلہ افزا ٹیم کا حصہ بننے پر فخر ہے اور ان سے سیکھنے کے قابل ہونے پر شکر گزار ہوں۔ ہماری مل کے لیے گنے کی مناسب سپلائی حاصل کرنا اور 425 فی من کی بلند ترین شرح کے ساتھ سیزن کا آغاز کرنا ایک قابل ذکر کامیابی ہے۔

Today it was remarkable to visit a Sugarcane field with the officers of JK Sugar Mill Unit 1. I did the identification of Sugarcane varieties and it was quite interesting.

Variety identification is a very interesting and important topic that can only be learned in the field.
Field visits again and again makes you an expert in identifying a variety with few observation.
CPF-253 is a variety that has good growth and high sucrose content (sugar). This variety can withstand the extreme weather conditions of south Punjab, Pakistan.
It has oval internodes, 2 lines of root primordia, and looks like embedded internodes.
