Snare C5 is a producer and DJ affiliated with the Bydgoszcz-based collective Lifted Index. Originating from the wave music scene, he now focuses primarily on broken rhythms in both his productions and DJ sets. He explores a wide range of electronic music subgenres, crafting sets that take listeners on a journey through the full spectrum of emotions expressed through sound.

Z inicjatywy sił twórczych z Trójmiasta i Wrocławia, w przestrzeni zakładu barberskiego odbędzie się spotkanie grafiki i bassówy, zorganizowane przez dwa zaangażowane kolektywy: nadchodzi wydarzenie kulturalno-artystyczne, jakiego Gdynia jeszcze nie widziała!

Barberave – Trójmiejski projekt, który łączy środowisko muzyki elektronicznej z kulturą barberską oraz dawką humoru!

A master of Bydgoszcz acid, T-NES is a producer, guitarist, sound engineer, astromycology expert, and co-founder of the Lifted Index collective. He has always sought to translate psychedelic experiences into a distinctive musical language — even a bad trip can spark inspiration.

His journey to opening his third eye was long and winding: starting with rap beats, passing through metal riffs, and eventually launching into a mystical voyage guided by liberty caps and golden teachers, who whispered full melodies into his ear.

Now, grounded and focused, T-NES and his crew are making waves in the Bydgoszcz scene — and their influence is spreading fast across Poland.

Barberave is a conceptual audiovisual project that bridges two seemingly distant worlds – electronic music and the art of barbering. The initiative was created by Kuxon and Rafał, the owner of the barbershop Pan się Przyzwyczai.

The project revolves around recording live DJ sets performed during… haircuts. This unconventional fusion of sound and visuals offers a fresh take on showcasing underground music by placing it in a setting that’s both everyday and unexpected.

Artists – DJs and producers – play without headphones, fully focused, while the barber performs a precise cut. This unusual setup becomes a challenge for both: musicians must stay in control of the sound despite distractions and no audio monitoring, and barbers work around a particularly “expressive” client.
The resulting recordings are more than just performances – they’re a testament to craftsmanship, discipline, and a creative approach to both fields.

Kuxon is responsible for recording the DJ sets and post-production. Hats off to him for his dedication!
Rafał handles the masterful cutting and the steady-handed choreography around the DJ’s head. Let’s be honest – it takes nerves of steel!
The graphic and visual identity of the project was shaped by Aga “Szumi” Szumińska, who gave Barberave its distinctive character and a cohesive visual language that highlights the uniqueness of the entire venture.
