The sugar paste we are using contains three main ingredients: sugar, lemon juice, and water.

As such it is biodegradable, hypoallergenic, and can also be made organically. This leads to less redness and irritation. It also allows sugar to act as an exfoliant, leaving your skin soft and silky-smooth after the treatment!

In contrast to wax, it is water-soluble and easier to remove.

Why is body sugaring safe?

Body sugaring is a natural way to remove unwanted hair and a completely safe process for mom and for baby. The reason has a lot to do with the paste we’re using. Our sugar paste is made only from lemon, water, and sugar. It does not contain any harsh chemicals that can seep into the skin and cause harm to the baby.

Do I need to take any precautions?

Keep in mind that sugaring treatment is generally safe for pregnant women as long as you’re past your 1st trimester in a healthy pregnancy :) However, you should be the one who needs to inform your sugarist if you are pregnant.
