It all started in 2013, with a pack of no salt, no chemical-treated Ikan Bilis which my mother-in-law bought for me to make soup stock for my baby girl. My parents were impressed with the superior quality. They said it would be good to grind them into powder, this way, all nutrients & flavor goes into my baby food. With guidance from my parents, we made our first bottle of Pure Ikan Bilis Powder.
CHOKING & INDIGESTION
She loved my Ikan Bilis Powder, I thought it would be nice to give her an alternative, so I made Silverfish Powder. Back then when she was around 10 months old, she had a good appetite. She loves mushrooms & scallops, however, she didn't chew well enough. Daily, I would check if there was any undigested food in her diaper stool. I was very concerned if her little tummy was able to digest well. One night, she was crying loudly, nothing could settle her down. That very night, she vomited a small chunk of mushroom. This fearful night of indigestion incident haunts me. I hurried study & experiment with various types of mushroom to find the most suitable type of mushroom to make them into Mushroom Powder. To prevent her from choking & ingestion, I started to explore all types of possible healthy ingredients to ease my baby's weaning journey. BABY WEANING JOURNEY
She was a good eater at 1 year old. She loves vegetables & seafood, but dislikes meat. Thus I created Chicken Powder & Pork Powder to ensure she has a little meat intake. It was added to her daily "Vegetarian" baby food which show no traces of meat. She loved to swallow the dried scallops used in boiled soup. I was concerned if it was too much for her little tummy. To satisfy both my mother & mother-in-law's requests, I made Garlic, Ginger, Dried Shrimp & Sole Fish into powder for them.
