善良与同理心，是全世界共同的语言。

我希望世界各地的人都能一起坚定地说：

如果你不能爱它们，请不要伤害它们。

动物会害怕，会疼痛，会信任，也会付出感情。

它们同样值得在没有虐待、没有恐惧的环境中活着。

请不要让旺旺的故事，只成为一个令人心痛的悲剧。

Wang Wang’s story should never be forgotten.

What happened to Wang Wang is not only about one animal. It is a reminder that countless animals around the world are still suffering from cruelty, neglect, abandonment, and abuse—often without a voice and without anyone standing beside them.

We cannot change everything overnight, but we can refuse to stay silent.

Every time we report abuse, support responsible rescue groups, educate someone about animal welfare, choose adoption over abandonment, or simply speak up when an animal is being mistreated, we are helping to create change.

Animal protection should not depend on nationality, language, culture, or borders. Compassion is universal.

I hope people around the world can stand together and say clearly:

If you cannot love them, please do not hurt them.

Animals feel fear. They feel pain. They trust. They love. And they deserve to live without cruelty.

Let Wang Wang’s story become more than a tragedy. Let it become a reason for us to act, to educate, to protect, and to keep speaking until animal abuse is no longer tolerated anywhere in the world.

I know this is not a short journey. It is a marathon — one that requires patience, courage, and long-term commitment.

Perhaps one post cannot change everything.
Perhaps one campaign cannot stop every act of cruelty.
But I truly believe that as long as we refuse to stay silent, change will continue.

If more people are willing to speak up, more people are willing to protect animals, and more children grow up learning to respect and value every life, then little by little, our world can become a kinder and safer place.

So to everyone who loves animals: please keep going.

When they cannot speak for themselves, let us be their voice.
When they are being hurt, let us stand up for them.
When the world begins to forget, let us remind the world again.

This should never be just a temporary wave of attention.

Loving animals is not only about feeling sad when abuse happens. It is about taking action that genuinely protects them.

Many people ask: “What can we really do to stop animal abuse?”

We may not be able to stop every act of cruelty immediately, but when enough people act responsibly and consistently, we can save lives and create real change.

When you witness suspected animal abuse:

Preserve evidence safely. Record the date, time, location, photographs, videos, vehicle details and witness information. Do not place yourself or the animal in greater danger.

Report the case through the appropriate animal welfare organisation, police or local authority. Give clear facts instead of spreading unverified accusations.

Follow up. Do not assume that one report is enough. Keep the case reference number, request updates and ask for proper investigation and accountability.

Support trusted rescuers and shelters. Donate food, medical funds or supplies. Volunteer, foster an animal, help with transportation or share verified adoption appeals.

Adopt responsibly instead of buying impulsively. Never abandon an animal when it becomes old, sick, difficult or inconvenient.

Sterilise pets and community animals responsibly to reduce unwanted births, abandonment and suffering.

Teach children to respect animals. Help them understand that hurting, frightening or neglecting an animal is never entertainment.

Speak up against businesses, breeders, attractions or online content that exploit animals. Do not fund cruelty with your money, attention or social-media engagement.

Encourage stronger laws, proper enforcement and transparent outcomes. Laws are only effective when reports are investigated and offenders are held accountable.

Most importantly, continue caring after the story is no longer trending.

Animals do not need our sympathy for only one day. They need protection, responsible action and people who refuse to remain silent.

Love must become action.
Concern must become protection.
And our voices must continue until every life is treated with dignity.

很多人都会问：“我们到底可以做些什么，才能真正阻止虐待动物？”

我们或许无法马上阻止每一起虐待事件，但只要更多人持续、理性并负责任地行动，我们就能够拯救生命，也能够推动真正的改变。

当你发现疑似虐待动物的情况时：

在安全的情况下保留证据。记录日期、时间、地点、照片、视频、车辆资料和目击者信息。不要让自己或动物陷入更大的危险。

向当地动物保护组织、警方或相关执法部门举报。提供清楚、真实的资料，不要散播未经证实的指控。

持续跟进。不要认为举报一次就结束了。保留案件编号，要求了解调查进展，并推动有关单位作出负责任的处理。

支持值得信任的救援组织和收容机构。你可以捐赠食物、医疗费用和物资，也可以参与义工服务、暂时寄养、协助接送，或转发经过核实的领养信息。

以领养代替冲动购买，并且对动物的一生负责。不要因为它们年老、生病、难以照顾或不再方便，就选择遗弃。

负责任地为宠物和社区动物绝育，减少无计划繁殖、遗弃和流浪动物的痛苦。

从小教育孩子尊重生命。让他们明白，伤害、恐吓、欺负或忽视动物，绝对不是娱乐。

拒绝支持利用动物牟利、虐待动物或制造残忍内容的商家、繁殖者、表演和网络账号。不要用金钱、流量和关注支持残忍行为。

推动更完善的法律、更严格的执法和更透明的调查结果。法律只有在案件受到认真调查、施虐者承担责任时，才能真正保护动物。

最重要的是，当事件不再成为热门新闻时，我们仍然愿意继续关心和行动。

动物需要的，不是一天的同情，而是长期的保护、负责任的行动，以及一群不愿继续沉默的人。

让爱化为行动，
让关心成为保护，

许多研究指出，蓄意虐待动物的人，未来更可能出现其他暴力行为。今天可以残忍地伤害动物，明天就可能把暴力转向更弱小的人，甚至危害整个社会。

因此，我们不能再沉默。

我们不要仇恨，
我们要的是公义。

我们不要空洞的承诺，
我们要的是实际的行动。

我们不要不了了之，
我们要的是公开透明、公平执法，以及让每一个施虐者都必须为自己的行为承担应有的法律责任。

Time and again, we hear the same promises: “We are investigating.” “We are looking into it.” But too often, the public never receives a clear outcome, meaningful action, or real accountability.

Enough is enough.

Justice delayed is justice denied—not only for the innocent animals that have suffered and died, but for every community that believes cruelty should never be tolerated.

Animal abuse is not “just an animal issue.” Numerous studies have found that deliberate cruelty to animals can be associated with a higher risk of other forms of violent behavior. When society ignores cruelty, it sends the message that violence has no consequences.

We are not asking for revenge.
We are asking for justice.
We are asking for transparency.
We are asking for the law to be enforced fairly, without fear or favoritism.

Stand together. Raise your voice. Demand clear answers. Demand real action. Demand meaningful consequences for those who torture, abuse, or kill innocent animals.
