It’s been a while since I last appeared! Just wanted to share a little about what’s been happening and the struggles a mom has on running her small business.

Building a business has been one of the most meaningful decisions I’ve made (hello mid-life crisis 😅), but also one that constantly teaches me resilience; a lot of excitement, pauses, gear forward and back, and deep breathes.

I started A Fresh Day Co. with a simple intention — to create something meaningful, flexible, and sustainable for my kids, and for your families too. Along the way, I’ve come to realise how much of this journey is beyond our control.

With recent global tensions, I’m seeing firsthand how world events ripple into small businesses like mine. The rising cost of oil affects more than we think: from the plastic bottles we use, to the raw ingredients that go into every bottle of shampoo and treatment.

I never expected this industry to be so dynamic. What feels like a distant issue can suddenly impact pricing, production, and continuity. As a small, family-run brand, we feel it deeply. 🥲

I’m sharing this not from a place of worry, but from honesty. Behind every product is a founder doing her best to balance quality, integrity, and sustainability — while navigating uncertainties we never planned for.

More than ever, I’m reminded why I started: to build something real, something that lasts — not just for my family, but for yours too.
