What if longevity was never East vs. West — just a failure of imagination for assuming it had to be one?

Modern medicine measures: biomarkers, biological clocks, inflammation before we feel it.

Ancient systems observe: Ayurveda’s elements and senses, Traditional Chinese Medicine’s rhythms and seasons.

Neither is a lesser language. They’re describing different layers of the same truth.

So we built an afternoon around two ways of arriving at the same body: one space moved through the five senses, the other through precision recovery.

Then four disciplines stood on one stage and stayed true to their own language, because that’s exactly where something new becomes visible. Not a compromise. A third thing.

We didn’t resolve East versus West — I don’t think that was ever the point. But we got a little closer to a question worth living inside.

Grateful to have shared that stage with Dr Neil Forrest Brandon Yew 姚程尉, Ash Shri, and Michelle Saram 雪兒🙏

Somewhere between ancient wisdom and modern science, something interesting happens.

Centuries of observation meet what we can measure today.
Tradition meets technology.
Intuition meets evidence.
East meets West.

Not to decide which philosophy is right — but to stay curious about what each can teach us.

On 28 August, five distinct perspectives come together to explore health, healing and longevity through very different lenses.

This space between worlds has always been close to my heart. Because I believe this is where the magic happens.

There’s something deeply spiritual about grounding; like being held by something far greater than us.
And yet, it’s not just a feeling. It’s science.

The earth carries a natural frequency: the Schumann resonance (~7.83 Hz) — the same range our brain enters in states of calm, meditation, and deep restoration.
When we walk barefoot, we reconnect to that field.
We regulate. We soften. We come back into coherence.

No app. No device. Just nature doing what it has always done.

For me, this is my reset. My recalibration.
A simple reminder that everything we need is already here.

If you take one thing from this — start small.
Step outside. Take your shoes off. Even a few minutes.
Let the body settle before the mind takes over the day.

It’s simple… but it changes everything. 🤎

The older I get, the more I realise that true wellbeing isn’t built only through the habits we practice every day.

It’s built through belonging.

Coming home to the people who have known every version of you. Sitting around the same table, eating the food your mum has lovingly prepared for decades. Watching your brother turn an entire lake into a playground, making everyone laugh until tears roll down your face. Seeing your children create memories with the people who helped shape your own childhood.

This is a different kind of nourishment.

In a world that celebrates doing more, achieving more and travelling further, I’ve come to believe that our nervous system quietly longs for something much simpler: familiarity, safety, shared stories, laughter that doesn’t need explaining, and people with whom we never have to perform.

Home isn’t always a place.
It’s the feeling of being completely yourself.

As someone who works in wellness and longevity, I’m constantly reminded that the greatest predictors of a meaningful life aren’t found only in the latest technology or scientific breakthroughs. They’re also found in the moments that science can’t fully measure: a mother’s cooking, brother who still bring out your inner child, sunsets that slow time, and the deep sense of belonging that reminds you where you came from.

These few days at Lake Tisza have been exactly that.

Pure joy.
Pure presence.
A gentle reminder that some of life’s richest moments don’t need to be extraordinary—they simply need to be shared.

May we never become so busy creating a beautiful life that we forget to come home and truly live it.

The longer I work in wellness, the less I believe there is one secret to longevity.

Not a supplement.
Not a technology.
Not a protocol.

Each has its place.

But what I have seen, time and time again, is that the people who age most beautifully are often the most integrated.

They care for their bodies, but also their minds.

They make space for ambition, but also for recovery.

They stay curious, connected and engaged with life.

As someone who grew up in elite sport, where nothing ever felt quite perfect enough, this has been one of my greatest ongoing lessons.

To me, wellness is not about perfection.

It is about creating the conditions for vitality to emerge — physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Perhaps that is where true vitality begins.

Science. Strategy. Soul.

45 years old. This is my new makeup. 😅

For most of my life, my focus was on performance.

As a former professional athlete, I was always interested in what my body could achieve — strength, endurance, recovery, muscle mass, movement, resilience and longevity.

The interesting part?

Most of my health markers and biological age measurements consistently come back younger than my chronological age.

Except one: My face.

Years of sun exposure, outdoor training, travel, stress, motherhood, life and simply being human have left their mark.

So for the first time, I’m turning some of that same attention towards facial aging.

Very intentionally. Very naturally.
And very much committed to staying on the non-invasive path.

I have no interest in looking 25 again. I simply want my face to reflect how I feel on the inside.

I’ll be sharing this journey openly — the treatments, the results, the lessons and everything in between.

Let’s see where it takes us…

Excited and honoured to be joining Vogue Wellness Day Singapore as a speaker.

Vogue Wellness has built something I deeply believe in — a space where wellbeing is held with real depth and intention, where high-performance living meets conscious self-care, and where we’re are reminded that we deserve to give the world the best of us, not what’s left of us.

I’ll be joining two brilliant minds for a conversation on The Longevity Blueprint: Engineering a Life Well Lived — exploring what it truly means to thrive at every stage of life, not just live longer.

See you there 🤍

The future of wellness is becoming increasingly neurological.

I had my brain mapped using dry qEEG technology with and the iSyncMed system; a fascinating look into stress patterns, cognitive performance, recovery, and how the brain adapts under modern lifestyle demands.

No gel. No invasive setup. Just real-time insight into the brain.

We are entering an era where optimisation becomes deeply personal — and increasingly measurable.

The next frontier of wellness and longevity may not start with the body, but with the brain.

True wellness is rarely built through one big moment.
It’s shaped quietly through the small choices we repeat every single day.

The way we move.
The way we nourish ourselves.
The way we recover, think, breathe, connect, and protect our energy.

Science gives us understanding.
Strategy gives us direction.
Soul gives it meaning.

This is not about perfection.
It’s about creating daily rituals that bring us back into alignment with ourselves — physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically.

What is one small non-negotiable that helps you feel most like yourself again? 🤍
