•2023 wasn’t a good year for Wizkid but it wasn’t his worst, as the Superstar had both good and bad times in 2023. Wizkid lost his dearest Mom which was his biggest source of Inspiration in 2023, This is one of the worst things that could happen to anyone. Wizkid didn’t release any single track in 2023 but was featured on Rexxie *Abracadabra* with Naira Marley.

•Wizkid made history on Saturday, July 29, as the first African artiste to hold a concert at the 60,000 Capacity Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Emerging from the stage in a bright red suit, Wizkid brought the energy from the start with his hit track Reckless and dazzled tens of thousands of fans with an impressive set design and a setlist influenced by the continent’s traditional sounds and vibrant colours.

•Wizkid collaborated with the prestigious Cavemen Highlife band for the show which boosted his stage performance bringing out his great qualities and excellence. The show witnessed guest performance from Wande Coal,TEMS,Cavemen etc..

•In recent years, the Nigerian music industry has gained global recognition with Afrobeat leading the way. This has opened doors to international collaborations, award nominations and wins, chart-topping hits and performances on major stages worldwide. In all these Wizkid still stands as a top pioneer leading the way for the next generation.
