An invitation was extended to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to attend the occasion. The occasion was attended by the Honourable Minister of Internal Affairs, the Deputy Minister of Health, participants from the National Public Health Agency, the Police, and many others.

Innovative ideas and challenges in the fight against drug abuse and illicit trafficking were discussed.

The Directorate of disaster victims (DVI) office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) Ministry of Internal Affairs, wish to inform the general public there is body of an unidentified male adult was received following a fatal road traffic accident that occurred in Allen Town area.

The deceased is Currently being Preserved at the Rokupa Government Hospital Mortuary Pending Identification and the notification of his next of kin.

*ASSETS DECLARATION TRAINING FOR OCME STAFF CONDUCTED BY THE ANTI-CORRUPTION COMMISSION*

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) wishes to inform the general public that on *Wednesday, 17th June 2026*, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) conducted a comprehensive online training on Assets Declaration for staff of the OCME.

The training which took place at 14 Gloucester Street, targeted all staff from Grade 7 and above and was delivered virtually through the ACC’s online Assets Declaration platform. It focused on enhancing understanding of the legal requirements, procedures, and ethical obligations under the *Anti-Corruption Act No. 12 of 2008 (as amended)*, as well as a step-by-step guidance on completing declarations using the new digital system.

This initiative reinforces OCME’s commitment to transparency, integrity, and compliance with the national anti-corruption standards as part of its mandate under the Medical Examiners Act No. 4 of 2021.
