Climate Leadership Workshop 🌱🌍 | Yesterday
Yesterday, we successfully hosted a Climate Leadership Workshop focused on empowering young people to understand climate change, develop leadership skills, and take meaningful action in their communities.
The session provided an opportunity for young people to learn, share ideas, build confidence, and explore practical ways to become climate leaders and advocates for a greener and more sustainable future.
Together, we believe that youth leadership is key to driving climate action and building resilient communities. 💚🌍

Today, LYDIA Network, in collaboration with Leading Youthful Digital Innovative Artistry, brought together passionate young volunteers from Green Youth Climate Action (GYCA) and United Youth for Pan-African Progress (UY4PAP) for a community beach clean-up exercise at Levuma Beach, Freetown.
The activity was organized as part of our commitment to promoting environmental protection, climate action, responsible waste management, and youth leadership. Our volunteers worked together to remove waste from the beach, helping to protect our coastline and create a cleaner and healthier environment for everyone.
The clean-up also provided an opportunity for young people to come together, network, share ideas, and demonstrate that youth can be powerful agents of environmental change.
We are proud of every volunteer who contributed their time, energy, and commitment to this important community initiative.
Together, we can keep our beaches clean, protect our environment, and build a greener and more sustainable Sierra Leone.

Today, we held our first strategic planning meeting with the Monitoring and Evaluation team. The meeting focused on setting priorities, defining key performance indicators, strengthening data collection and reporting systems, and developing strategies to effectively track the impact of our programs. We look forward to working together to ensure accountability, learning, and continuous improvement in our activities

"On 30th May, Green Youth Climate Action (GYCA) organized a community clean-up exercise to address improper waste disposal and promote environmental sanitation. Volunteers worked together to remove large amounts of plastic waste and other litter from an illegal dumpsite, helping to restore the cleanliness of the area. The activity also served as an opportunity to raise awareness among community members about the importance of proper waste management, environmental responsibility, and collective action in protecting public health and the environment.
