π Brief Biography:
Dr. Taban John J. Tombe is a licensed pharmacist with nearly a decade of experience in hospital pharmacy and humanitarian pharmaceutical services. His career began at Juba Teaching Hospital, after which he joined ALIMA as a project pharmacist in 2017 and later MSF France, where he progressed from Project Pharmacy Supervisor to Coordination Pharmacy Supervisor and Pharmacy Manager.
His professional experience includes pharmaceutical supply management, stock and cold-chain monitoring, rational medicine use, procurement, importation and regulatory processes, pharmacy team supervision, training, budgeting, and emergency medical supply coordination. He has worked in different humanitarian settings, including South Sudan and Nigeria, supporting the safe and continuous availability of medicines and medical commodities.
He is also an active member of the Pharmaceutical Society of South Sudan (PSSS) and continues to contribute ideas aimed at strengthening the Society and advancing the pharmacy profession.
