📢 Official Handover Ceremony – Malakal Vocational Training Center

Today marks a significant step forward for skills development in Upper Nile State!

The Malakal Vocational Training Center has been officially handed over — a project funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The handover ceremony was graced by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, who represented the Government of Upper Nile State, alongside the Minister of Health.

This center stands as a beacon of hope for empowering youth through skills training, employment opportunities, and community development.

Together, we invest in people. Together, we build the future.

Today, I speak from the heart — to my brothers and sisters from the five tribes of Upper Nile State:
Nuer, Dinka, Shilluk, Maban, and Koma.

We are different in culture, language, and traditions — but we are one people, living on the same land, drinking from the same river, and sharing the same future.

Let us stop seeing each other as rivals and start embracing each other as partners in peace. When we unite, no challenge is too big. When we stand together, no enemy can divide us.

🛑 Let’s say no to tribalism, no to hatred, and no to division.

✅ Let’s say yes to peace, yes to unity, and yes to development for the next generation.

Upper Nile will only grow when her five tribes walk as one. The time is now.
