As a first time mom going through the toddler stage for the first time, I’m understanding more and more that my son’s energy doesn’t make him bad or disobedient, it just makes him a normal toddler that likes to move around 🤷🏽‍♀️

The next time you encounter a mom or dad in a public space with their toddler that’s not staying still or behaving “correctly”, have some grace for them.

I think we associate “well-behaved” with silent and sitting still. I’m learning more and more that it’s not that simple.
