Your treatment slot is reserved specifically for you🤍
At EDNA Wellness, each treatment is scheduled around the availability of the surgeon most appropriate for your case. As our surgeons maintain limited clinical schedules, appointment availability particularly for specific surgeons and treatment dates can fill quickly.
For this reason, an appointment is considered secured only once the required deposit has been received. Until then, the requested date remains available to other patients and may be confirmed for another patient who completes their booking first.
Once your treatment is confirmed, we kindly encourage you to keep your scheduled date whenever possible.
Your surgeon’s time, treatment preparation, and clinical resources are arranged specifically around your appointment, and rescheduling may mean waiting for the next available slot.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us provide every patient with the time, preparation, and medical attention they deserve.
Thank you so much for always placing your trust in us🙏🏻

Will stem cell therapy change my DNA?
The short answer is no. Conventional UC-MSC therapy is a cell-based treatment, not gene therapy. It is not designed to edit, replace, or rewrite your genes.
UC-MSCs are studied mainly for the biological signals they release, which may help regulate inflammation and support the body’s repair environment. Although donor-derived cells contain their own DNA, they do not become part of or change the patient’s genetic code.
Gene therapy is different. It specifically aims to modify or influence genes for therapeutic purposes.

What is NAD+, and why is it important?
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme naturally found in every cell of the body. It plays an essential role in converting nutrients into cellular energy and supports processes involved in metabolism, DNA maintenance and healthy cell function.
Our natural NAD+ levels may decline as we age and can also be influenced by lifestyle and overall health. This has led researchers to study NAD+ for its potential role in supporting:
• Cellular energy production
• Healthy metabolism
• Normal DNA-repair processes
• Focus and mental clarity
• Healthy aging and overall well-being
However, NAD+ therapy is not proven to stop or reverse aging. Clinical evidence for IV NAD+ is still developing, and individual experiences may vary.

Your everyday habits may be affecting your knees more than you realize.
Sitting for too long, skipping your warm up, carrying extra weight, overlooking muscle weakness, and waiting until the pain becomes serious can place additional strain on your joints over time.
Small changes today can help support stronger, healthier movement tomorrow. If knee pain persists, seek medical guidance early.

Sitting for too long
Long periods of inactivity can contribute to stiffness and weaken the muscles supporting your knees. Take regular movement breaks throughout the day.
Skipping your warm up
Moving straight into intense activity may increase your risk of injury. Give your muscles and joints time to prepare with gentle movement.
Carrying extra weight
Additional body weight can increase pressure on the knee joints during everyday movement. Sustainable weight management may help reduce strain and discomfort.
Overlooking muscle weakness
Weak muscles around the hips, thighs, and knees may provide less support and stability. Appropriate strengthening exercises can help protect joint function.
Waiting until the pain becomes serious
Persistent pain, swelling, or stiffness should not be ignored. Seeking medical guidance early can help identify the cause and guide appropriate care.

What can damage knee cartilage?
Knee cartilage allows the joint to move smoothly while helping absorb pressure from everyday movement. Over time, it may be affected by osteoarthritis, a direct injury, or prolonged inactivity that contributes to stiffness and reduced joint function.
Common signs may include:
• Persistent knee pain
• Swelling or stiffness
• Reduced range of motion
• Clicking or grinding sensations
If these symptoms begin to affect your daily life, a medical assessment can help identify the cause and guide the next step in your care.

Did you know? You can have Runner’s Knee… even if you’ve never been a runner.
Runner’s Knee, or Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (PFPS), is one of the most common causes of pain at the front of the knee and it’s not limited to athletes
It often develops because of:
• Weak hip and thigh muscles
• Poor movement mechanics
• Repetitive activities like stairs, squats or gym workouts
• Sitting for long periods
• Suddenly increasing your activity level
When the kneecap doesn’t track smoothly, it places extra stress on the joint, leading to pain, stiffness, or clicking around the front of the knee.
Early assessment and appropriate treatment can often prevent symptoms from becoming chronic

Nearly 1 in 2 adults over 40 have knee cartilage damage without any symptoms
Cartilage deterioration is silent. Pain is a late signal. By the time your knee consistently hurts, the damage has usually been progressing for years. Cartilage has no blood supply. It cannot repair itself. And once the window for early intervention closes, your options narrow.
If you are over 40 and want to understand the actual state of your knee health, our medical team at EDNA Wellness can help
