7 years ago, one trip changed my life. He asked, and I said heck yess in a little coffee shop in Chiangmai Mai, Thailand - the morning after the lantern festival. Every time I look at this ring, I see tiny twinkling lanterns like stars in the sky. One for every reason I said yes then, and I’m still saying yes today and everyday.

God I miss the world, but at least if I’m to be stuck in Ontario for a while, I’m stuck here with you ✨

The first time I was around to celebrate your birthday, you were turning 19, and I wasn’t allowed in the bar (for being 18) and I had to wait outside as you went in for a quick drink. Now you’re 32, and I still have to wait outside the bar (for not having a QR code) 😂 so really not much has changed. I’m still in love with you. You still make me laugh, and you still make eggs better than me and I can always count on you to refill my windshield washer fluid without asking. But Life is also full of surprises, and I’m down for all of them. The good, the bad and the Covid. No matter what happens we have each other.

In 13 years We’ve done so many incredible things together, and that’s not even to mention the two perfect humans we made. And still, I believe our best years are still ahead of us.
