Yesterday I saw a mother packing her child's lunch kit for school and it reminded me of this pic I took in my fav medical office Horizon Health Care Ltd. (2019)

I'm posting this to encourage and tell parents that no child should hv the option to drink 3 boxes of juice...and hv the option of 5 unhealthy snacks within a 6 hour period...plus lunch...
The only things in that kit that was healthy... was some fruits and water...

A recent health study was done in TnT and it showed that nearly 40% of our nations children are at risk for developing Type 2 diabetes..

I hope this pic lives rent free in your head...like it does in mine...

I was like a proper groupie...🤣🤣
My fav song from her is "
God ah bless me"🫶
Happy Birthday Renee!!!!!!

The Rotary Club of St. Augustine’s Early Steps to Success initiative focuses on improving literacy and early childhood development through the “Story Spaces for Young Explorers” program.

The project aims to create engaging reading spaces in primary schools within the Tunapuna, St. Augustine, and Tacarigua communities to support children aged 5–7 years.

My weekly commitment as a story teller...
Imagine being nervous around 7year olds ..lol
But then I got a hug **melts**

Bringing books ..reading...and childhood imagination back to our schools ...
