Good health is very important for every person. Moreover, there is nothing more important than health. Wise people even say: “Health is above wealth”, because if you don’t care of your health, you can’t study or work properly.
Unfortunately, having perfect health is almost impossible nowadays. Due to highly polluted environment people suffer from many diseases.
The best way to stay healthy is to do regular morning exercise, to eat healthy products, to sleep at least 8 hours a day and to quit bad habits. The good thing is that people are becoming more health-conscious. In my opinion, the number of smoking and alcohol drinking people is decreasing in our country. This is happening because people started to understand how dangerous these two bad habits are. Obesity is another health problem. People, who eat lots of fattening food and do almost no exercise, are often overweight. A healthy diet involves many fruit and vegetables, seafood and wholegrain products. Salt, sugar and fat should be avoided. Excessive dieting can be also dangerous. Some people refuse to eat meat and become vegetarian. However, doctors say that meat is an excellent source of good nutrition.

You are healthy? Before answering, think about what the very notion of "health" means. Healthy does not mean not sick. Health is a measure of how well the state of your body and spirit.
Health - a precious and fragile thing, it's easy to spoil it, and the health depends on ourselves. So, in order to maintain health, you need to eat healthy food, do exercise, be outdoors, and get sleep. In different countries, the meaning of the word "health" is understood differently. There are places on earth where people's health is undermined by poverty, hunger, lack of clean drinking water, and somewhere health is ruined by overeating, nervous tension, a sedentary lifestyle. Sport and health are closely related. Generally speaking health has several components and sport is one of them. Others are healthy diet, hasteless and calm lifestyle, being in harmony with yourself and with others and positive attitude, of course. Sport is regarded more as a component of physical health.
However, everybody knows that healthy body means sound mind. Sport is mostly associated with young people, but that’s a false opinion. Many old people also regularly exercise. Nowadays, there are several ways to keep fit. First is to do regular morning exercises. Second is to exercise during the day through cycling, roller-skating, walking in the park, jogging, swimming, ice-skating etc. And the third way is to attend specialized fitness – centers, which can be found nearly everywhere now. They offer wide opportunities for people with different needs. They are often combined with swimming-pools or ice-rinks. There are many opportunities for such exercises as yoga, aerobics, karate, belly dancing, body building, weightlifting, and a simple work out in the gym.

People became more health-conscious. Now everyone understands that healthy nutrition is not a mere name. Even developing countries began to take GMO, colorings and unnatural additives with caution. Now buying only organic and healthy food, eating more fruits and vegetables, as well as going in for sports and keeping fit are in.
Sport is as important as the quality of food. Many people are still lazy and do not want to take up any sports, because they think that sport is only weights and bulky exercise equipments. In fact, sport is an active approach to life and desire to improve a body. We are not talking only about the gyms and professional sports centers. The alternative of any exercises can be dancing, walking and jogging in the open air.
Healthy lifestyle is not only a sound body but also a sound mind. Faith, optimistic approach to life, ability to keep even temper and calm - these things are also equally important.

I consider that man’s health depends on his mode of life. To prevent the diseases it’s necessary to keep some simple regulations: to go in for sports, to eat carefully, to take a rest and to walk frequently in the open air.
I’m fifteen years old and the last three years I do my morning exercises. It inspirits and gives strength to me for a whole day. I add dousing with cold water in winter. I think that conditioning to the cold is the main method for preserving my health.

Nature is all around us. We see it every day. It’s the sunset, the sunrise, the song of birds, the blooming оf flowers, the wind that blows, etc. These signs are an integral part of our lives.
