Leap of Faith

The beautiful must be preserved, taken as a model, based on it, even if it is "old". Why do we need to turn away from the truly beautiful, abandon it as a starting point for further development, only on the grounds that it is "old"?

The cannibal's song about the charm of a luxurious feast, where dishes from human flesh are served, can be perceived as wonderful, but for its aesthetic enjoyment it requires some psychological detachment from modern culture.
