GEL POLISH ON TOES: BEAUTY OR A HIDDEN PROBLEM?

You think gel polish on your toes is just convenient and красивo?
But every day, I see the other side of this “beauty”…

⚠️ What really happens to your toenails under gel polish:

— The nail gets “sealed” → no air access
— You can’t see what’s happening underneath
— Any micro-trauma = perfect environment for infection
— Shoe pressure makes the damage worse

💥 What clients come to me with:
— nail lifting (onycholysis)
— nail deformation
— thickening and discoloration
— fungal and bacterial complications

And the worst part —
people walk around with these problems for months without even knowing 😔

❗️The biggest mistake:
wearing gel polish on toenails continuously without breaks or monitoring

✨ The truth no one tells you in salons:
toenails are NOT like fingernails
they deal with pressure, friction, and constant load

And gel polish in these conditions
is not just a coating — it’s a risk factor

💬 If you love gel polish — that’s okay
BUT:
✔️ take breaks
✔️ monitor your nail health
✔️ don’t ignore even small changes

Beauty isn’t just how it looks
it’s about being healthy underneath 🤍

⚠️ STOP scrolling if you have THIS on your foot…

Looks like “just a callus”?
It’s NOT.

👉 This is a plantar wart.
And it won’t disappear on its own.

❌ Cutting it at home = spreading the virus
❌ Ignoring it = more pain + more warts
❌ “Waiting” = biggest mistake

What we do in the clinic👇
✔️ Professional, sterile removal
✔️ Pain-controlled procedure
✔️ Deep treatment of the root (not just surface)
✔️ Clear treatment plan for full recovery

✨ No guessing. No damage. No spreading.

And yes — it can be treated safely and effectively.

💬 If you see something similar — don’t wait

Onycholysis is not just a cosmetic issue.

In the first photos you can see the nail before treatment.
The nail plate had separated from the nail bed, creating a space where moisture, bacteria, and infection can accumulate.

During the podological treatment we:
• carefully removed the detached part of the nail
• cleaned the affected area
• created conditions for the healthy and proper growth of the nail

The last photo shows the result after the treatment.

It’s important to understand that recovery from onycholysis is a process that requires time, proper care, and regular monitoring.

With the right approach, the nail can recover and regain a healthy appearance.

🦶 Epidermal–dermal fissure: the correct treatment algorithm

An epidermal–dermal fissure is a crack that passes through the epidermis and damages the dermis.
This is a deep skin injury, and the treatment algorithm for such fissures is fundamentally different from that used for superficial cracks.

❗️These fissures cannot be treated “gently” — they require active therapeutic management.

🔹 Treatment algorithm for an epidermal–dermal fissure:

1️⃣ Opening the fissure
A fissure cannot heal properly while its edges remain under tension and are closed by hyperkeratosis.
➡️ Therefore, the fissure must be opened to release tissue tension and allow healing to begin from the base of the wound.

2️⃣ Removal of hyperkeratotic and tonically tense edges
Dense, hyperkeratotic edges act like a wedge that continuously reopens the fissure during weight bearing.
➡️ These edges must be carefully removed to reduce mechanical stress on the fissure area.

3️⃣ Antiseptic treatment
After opening the fissure, antiseptic treatment is essential to prevent infection and inflammation.

4️⃣ Application of wound-healing and regenerating agents
Products that stimulate tissue repair, epithelialization, and dermal regeneration are applied.

5️⃣ Mandatory offloading of the fissure area
Without offloading, the area continues to be traumatized during walking.
➡️ Offloading reduces pressure and allows the tissue to heal without repeated splitting.

6️⃣ Home care
Regular home care supports the healing process and helps maintain stable results between visits.

✨ Results of the correct algorithm:
✔ reduced pain
✔ faster dermal regeneration
✔ proper healing without recurrent fissuring
✔ stable, long-term outcome

👉 Conclusion: an epidermal–dermal fissure is not just dryness or a cosmetic issue. It is a dermal injury that requires opening, debridement of the edges, antiseptic care, regenerative therapy, and mandatory offloading. Only this approach ensures effective healing and restoration of the skin.

— не довіряйте лише кількості підписників;
— перевіряйте реальні відгуки не тільки в їхніх каналах;
— не переказуйте гроші без офіційного договору, квитанції або реальної юридичної інформації;

🦶 A podologist’s work doesn’t start with the nail — it starts with foot biomechanics

Very often, we treat the symptoms,
but the true cause of foot problems, nail issues, calluses, cracks, as well as knee and back pain, is improper foot alignment and disturbed biomechanics.

👉 A podologist can do a lot,
but the only way to influence foot biomechanics is through properly fitted orthotic insoles.

They:
✔️ correct load distribution
✔️ align the body axis
✔️ reduce pressure on problem areas
✔️ improve gait and overall well-being
✔️ help podiatric treatment results last longer

📅 December 21 (Sunday)
A doctor will be available in our clinic who will:

👣 perform a foot assessment
👣 evaluate biomechanics
👣 create custom orthotic insoles tailored specifically to your feet

❗️These are not standard insoles — they are fully personalized, taking into account your body structure, gait, and individual concerns.

💳 We accept extended health benefits
If you have extended health benefits, you are welcome to use them ✔️
The doctor accepts benefit coverage.

✨ This appointment is for you if you:
– have been treating nail problems but they keep coming back
– experience tired or aching legs
– feel pain while walking
– want not just a procedure, but a solution to the root cause

➡️ This appointment is exactly what you need.

📩 Book via DM / phone
Limited availability.

**What is Podiatry and Why is it Important for Your Health**

👣 Podiatry is the science that deals with the study, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the feet and legs. This field of medicine plays a crucial role in maintaining overall health, especially for people over 40, when the risk of various diseases increases.

**Why is Podiatry Important?**

- **Disease Prevention**: Foot diseases can lead to serious consequences, including chronic pain, limited mobility, and even disability. A podiatrist can help identify problems at an early stage and offer effective preventive measures.

- **Improving Quality of Life**: Healthy feet are the key to an active life. Podiatric procedures help relieve pain, fatigue, and discomfort, allowing you to enjoy each day.

- **Correction of Improper Gait**: An improper gait can lead to joint and spine issues. A podiatrist will conduct diagnostics and provide individual recommendations for correction.

- **Foot Care**: A podiatrist not only treats but also educates on proper foot care. This is especially important for people with diabetes or other chronic conditions that can affect foot health.

- **Individual Approach**: Every individual is unique, and a podiatrist develops personalized treatment and prevention plans, taking into account the characteristics of your body and lifestyle.

**Conclusion**: Caring for your foot health is not just about comfort but also an important aspect of overall well-being. Don’t postpone your visit to a podiatrist! Take care of your feet today and enjoy an active and fulfilling life.

How to Choose the Right Shoes for Healthy Feet?

Improperly chosen shoes can cause pain, calluses, and even foot deformities. Here are 5 key tips to choose shoes that won’t harm your health:
1. Correct Size
• Shoes shouldn’t squeeze or be too loose.
• Leave 0.5–1 cm of space between your toes and the shoe tip.
2. Comfort from the First Step
• Shoes should feel comfortable immediately, without needing to be “broken in.”
3. Materials
• Choose natural materials like leather or textile to allow your feet to breathe.
4. Arch Support
• Good shoes have cushioning insoles and support the foot arch.
5. Heel Height
• The ideal heel height is 2–4 cm. Completely flat shoes or high heels can harm your feet.

If your feet already need care or consultation, book a procedure now! Taking care of your feet is the key to their health!
