After the army, in 1966 he moved to Munich, where he worked in a fitness club. As Arnold himself recalls in his autobiography, at this time he behaved extremely aggressively, fighting almost every day and collecting fines for violating traffic rules, "I was like a bull walking its meat." "I made great progress in the initial stages of my training, when I served in the Austrian army and had a lot of things to do. A year later, Gustav Schwarzenegger died of a stroke, and Arnold did not appear at his funeral.
