Providing support to women, helping them grow in their faith and navigate through life
Before God elevates a woman, He empties her.
God humbles, refines, and strips away self-reliance before He entrusts greater purpose, influence, or elevation.
Here’s how the Bible supports this idea 👇🏽
1. God Works Through Humility, Not Self-Sufficiency
📖 James 4:6
“God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
Before elevation, God often empties a woman of pride, self-dependence, ego, and false identity, so she can fully rely on Him. Elevation without humility leads to destruction, but humility attracts grace.
2. Emptying Means Surrendering Control to God
📖 Proverbs 3:5–6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding…”
God empties a woman of:
Her own plans
Her timeline
Her understanding
So that His will—not hers—leads her life. True elevation is alignment with God’s purpose.
3. Biblical Women Were Emptied Before They Were Elevated
✨ Hannah (1 Samuel 1–2)
Hannah was emptied through barrenness, shame, and deep prayer. She poured out her soul before God.
📖 1 Samuel 1:15
“I have poured out my soul before the Lord.”
Only after this emptying did God elevate her—giving her Samuel, a prophet who changed Israel.
✨ Esther
Before becoming queen, Esther lost:
Her parents
Her name
Her comfort
She submitted to preparation and obedience before God elevated her to save a nation.
📖 Esther 4:14
“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
✨ Mary, the Mother of Jesus
Mary was emptied of:
Reputation
Security
Social approval
📖 Luke 1:38
“Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.”
Her humility led to the greatest elevation—carrying the Savior of the world.
4. God Empties to Fill With Himself
📖 2 Corinthians 12:9
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”
When God empties a woman, He is making room:
For His strength
For His wisdom
For His glory
What feels like loss is often divine preparation.
5. Elevation Is God’s Work, Not Man’s
📖 Psalm 75:6–7
“For promotion comes neither from the east nor the west… but God is the judge: He puts down one, and sets up another.”
God elevates women who are:
Empty of self
Full of faith
Anchored in obedience
In Summary 🌿
Before God elevates a woman:
He empties her of self
He refines her through surrender
He builds her character before her calling
Because God cares more about who she becomes than where she goes.
