Following the sudden demise of our L.C.5 District Chairperson for Kayunga District, comrade Ffefeka Sserubogo, we have learnt that certain individuals claiming to represent NUP are going around the district claiming to have been sent by the Party to conduct on-ground surveys. They are also purportedly soliciting money from the NUP party flag aspirants for the now vacant position.

This is to clarify that NUP has not sanctioned those individuals and their activities.

Candidates for District Chairpersons are selected by the national Election Management Committee of the Party! In the coming days, the Committee will embark on the candidate selection process for the vacant positions and all interested persons will be accordingly notified.
