It’s about time we broke the news: We’re moving to the Greenville, OH/Dayton area. God’s plans, but we’ll sure miss Ada and the surrounding area. 😢 It has been a blast connecting to so many locals through our little tallow business!

We started this business for 2 reasons: to learn how a business is run, and to connect with the community. It has served us well in both ways.

With that said, we’re still discussing options to keep offering tallow, and also trying our hand at a second facet to the business: wedding supply rentals and services.

Starting small with the 21 lanterns that were handmade for our own wedding, we’ll either expand our supply offerings or keep it there as demand shows. Either way, in keeping with the vision of this business, we’re just doing this for the fun of it.

Message us if you have any special wedding needs that we may be able to fill as we consider expansion- supplies you need to rent, delivery needs we may be able to fill, etc. … we’re open to ideas!

For these last few warm months, our website’s shipping option has been disabled in order to prevent spoilage of our products due to heat. If you’d like delivery and are local, simply message our page, and we can arrange a delivery or point you to a shop near you that carries our product! ❤️

Heat wave tallow tip: Tallow balm behaves like butter. Colder = more solid, warmer = thinner. Keep your balm in a dark, cool environment. If it gets melty, you can even put it in the fridge to let it solidify (it will get really solid, but that’s fine).

We’re going to be adding arrowroot powder to it during these summer months to give our balms a little more temperature resistance

Baby boy was born 6/12, and we’re now back in business! Since it’s mostly Blake working on the tallow right now, we’re focused on restocking all the shops, plus we’re temporarily opening up availability for porch pickup.

We started using our Baby Balm on our own baby before we even left the hospital! He had a little scratch on his face that healed so quickly with the help of the balm. In the works right now is a full baby line, including a kit option for mother and baby.

(Pictured) This is your tallow in the middle step of its purification process. In the fridge it goes, and the tallow separates from the water, creating a “cake”. The impurities sink to the bottom of the cakes, are scraped off and pitched, and the rest of the cake is melted down again!
