When I follow someone, I like knowing the person behind the brand.

At the last Adel Farmers Market, my friend took a photo of me at my booth.

So, I’d like to introduce myself a little.

My name is Aiko.

I moved to the USA in 2017.

I’m a wife, a mom, a homeschooling mom, a yoga instructor, and a gardener.

In the future, I’d love to grow more herbs and flowers and create products with them.

Last mins… but I decided to join Adel farmers market tomorrow with my friend.

I’ll sell my products and my friend will sell sourdough rolls.

I usually post about my events, but today I’d like to talk about my business name.

Before, I shared a little about myself and explained the meaning of “Sakura.”

However, I haven’t talked much about why I chose “Garden.”

Right now, most of the products I sell are tallow-based products.

So why “Garden,” right?

Well, I have a large garden about 35–40 minutes from my home.

My husband and I have always dreamed of growing our own vegetables and maybe even selling some if we had extra.

Recently, I’ve been thinking about planting more herbs and flowers and using them to create products as well.

Since I don’t use sprays, there’s a lot of work involved without large equipment.

But I truly enjoy taking care of my garden.

It gives me energy and helps me feel connected to the earth.

At the moment, I’m mainly selling tallow products, but there’s a chance that I’ll eventually sell vegetables, herbs, and fruits too. (I hope!)

When my husband and I were talking about starting a small business, we decided that “Sakura Garden” would be the perfect name.

That’s why my business is called Sakura Garden.

Sometimes I’ll share updates about my garden and orchard!

This year, I don’t think we’ll have many apples.

I’ve already noticed that a lot of them have fallen off the trees, and some may have been eaten by birds.

But that’s nature, and I can’t control it.

Every year I learn something new!
