We are a small farm in southern New Mexico practicing organic growing methods while focusing on educating others. We also offer dog boarding and doggie daycare!
We offer a verity of handmade bath and bodycare as well as other farm products. Naturally Balanced Farms is an ever growing family owned farm. We started with just a small garden and 6 chickens before moving to our little diamond in the desert where we now have a small garden, approximately 150 chickens, a few turkey's, about a dozen ducks, a small herd of mini goats, Jake the potbelly pig, a peacock and a couple horses including Lexi our mini therapy horse in training. Everyone including the animals has a job so no free loading here. Eggs are our main focus but you can always find much more going on around here. You never know what fun you'll find! When making products if we can't or don't grow the ingredients ourselves we look for the most local farm source available. As a Nutritional Consultant, Lifestyle Coach & Aromatherapist I am committed and passionate about educating and helping others achieve total balance in their health and spirit. I work hard to integrate this in our farming. We welcome farm tours by appointment. We also offer an assortment of classes including: How to milk your goat, hoof trimming, and disbudding/dehorning. Soap and natural body product manufacturing. Starting a farm on little to no money. Self esteem and positive image building with our therapy animals. Internships are currently being considered. Overnight stays for the full farm experience are available on a limited basis.

Update: Sold OUT for tonight!!! I’ll make more tomorrow. I have to get more flour first! 😅 Let me know if you want to place an order so I can make sure to make enough. There’s still 2 loaves of fresh Egg bread.
Pumpkin Challah just hit the farm stand shelves! I’ll make more if y’all come get it! 💕 This is not a sweet bread. It’s a little hard to explain but it’s definitely delicious 🤤
Remember we’re open all day everyday and run on the honor system. Cash, cashapp, Venmo, PayPal and square (credit/debit) accepted. There’s currently only light as long as the solar lights last after dark.

It’s Friday and fall has come to the farm stand! I just put out a fresh batch of Apple butter made from local apples of course! We’re already down to 3 loaves of fresh baked Egg Bread. I’ll be adding things daily but I have a special gift basket order that I need to work on today before I can do anything else so this may be it for today.
Remember the stand is open all day everyday and runs on the honor system.

The rain is messing with my tomatoes but still got a good harvest this morning plus… the first two luffa of the year are ready!!!

I have some of the BEST clients!!! A brand new guest mama brought me these flowers this morning dropping off her dogs for boarding 🥹🥰 She absolutely made my day! 💕

Our guests always keep us busy but they enjoy their down time too! Cooler weather means we will get to play outside more too! (I’m trying hard to post our guest stays more)

I’m so excited y’all! Here comes the cooler temperatures😁😁😁😁! You know what that means? I can resume baking and working on the farm stand again! Eeeek! Don’t get me wrong I’m sure it’ll still get toasty in there in the afternoon but at least it’s not going to be an oven and insulation will be going in soon! I don’t bake when it’s hot either because I don’t want to over work the electric lines in my house (it’s old). Thanks for hanging tough with me this summer and supporting the farm stand even though it was so hot and items were limited! I can’t wait for you to see it as it cools down and I get more work done. Be on the lookout for baked goodies each week!

Dahlia says pup cups for the win! She’s a little hot this afternoon and maybe a little sour at me because I made her come inside and rest so she doesn’t over heat (I actually do this for all the dogs, they have rest time in the hottest part of the day but she had to come in earlier). So now that she’s been inside and cooled off for awhile, I’m buttering her up with a pumpkin, peanut butter, goat milk pup cup. I think she likes me again. It’s ok Dahly you can go outside to play again when it cools off a little bit more. I promise! 🐾🦴
