Absolutely devastated by the news of my dear friend, Joseph Dorminey, being gunned down. I just do not understand the evil it would take to hurt someone so filled with love. Joey gave nothing but love while needing more love than anyone I know. He held a very special place in my my heart. Our community has lost so many precious souls. I just can’t make sense of it💔

In honor of our beloved Jazzmine let’s turn FB purple with her beloved Purple Rain. Please use image for your FB page header.
The Flock of Gulls lost one very close to us today. One of our volunteers, Kimberly Porter, lost her sweet father to cancer. Please keep this family in your prayers.
Woke up to read that a dear friend died from cancer. Libby Womack, was a wonderful supporter of the arts and served with me on the board of the Albany Museum of Art. We did business together in her wholesale florist shop for well over a decade. Libby was a creative force to be reckoned with! She was a huge supporter of the Boy Scouts and worked tirelessly to help them raise money to do wonderful things in Albany. She donated to the Flock of Gulls for MANY of our fundraisers. Libby was a dear friend to many including the 4-legged kind. She will be missed in my heart and in our community!
Request of a dear friend: I'm asking for prayers for my friend Kari's son Denver. He was transported to atlanta to be treated for bacterial menengitis. Please pray he makes a full recovery

THE FLOCK HAS OUR FIRST CORPORATE SPONSOR! BUFFALO WILD WINGS! We have VIP tickets to Buffalo Wild Wings Grand Opening for lunch and dinner tomorrow. The Flock would like to gift these to some cancer survivors. If you would like to go, please call Ella Campbell at 291-6865.
Caitlynn Nutt, the daughter/granddaughter of two members of The Flock of Gulls has decided to donate her hair to LOCKS OF LOVE in honor of her Grandmother, Vicky Stephens who has spent the last year in a winning battle against Ovarian Cancer. Caitlynn is only SIX YEARS OLD! Caitlynn and The Flock of Gulls is challenging all of Albany to come out and support her and help us gather donations for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. We would love to have additional donors. Please contact us if you know anyone interested in donating at least 10" of un-processed hair. Candi Cherry from Fusion Hair Salon has graciously donated her time to come do the honors! Thank you Phil Cannon for allowing us time on stage for such a great cause. See you all there! 6:30 on the LEVEE STAGE

The Flock of Gulls is hosting a fundraiser to help off-set the medical expenses incurred by the Watson family as their loved one, Ginger Watson, battled cancer. Sadly, Ginger lost her battle. Please come out to The Bar Code on Saturday, March 3rd. This will be held during the downtown Mardi Gras event and will have Mardi Gras styled entertainment. Wear your best costume/mask and enter our contest.

The Flock of Gulls is at it again! You may see our lovely yard "flockings" around town. If you do, stop by and leave a donation to The American Cancer Society in the mailbox if it is a residence or pop in if it is a business. If you would like to sponsor a gull in the flock, contact us on this page for details. They are $10 each. All proceeds go to ACS! This is the first FLOCKING at Albany Therapeutic.
