I know some of you are already walking through Halloween aisles in 85 degree weather pretending the heat isn’t personally attacking you ☀️🖤
Something about this time of year always shifts the mood.
The days get longer. The sunsets get heavier and more orange. The air outside starts feeling like hot water against your skin. And suddenly all you want is cold AC, dark rooms, spooky decor, silver sparkle, dramatic makeup, and shadows that feel like relief from the brightness.
That’s exactly what Summer Of Shadows became.

🩶FOG BANK 🌫️
There is a gray that exists before the rain starts.
Not silver.
Not charcoal.
Not flat.
Fog Bank looks soft in the pan…
but the second it touches skin, it deepens into cloudy, storm-soaked darkness.
This is the gray that holds the sky together.
The one that makes lightning feel brighter.
The one that makes violet feel richer.
The one that makes silver feel colder.
This entire collection was born from the Oregon sky… layers of gray, hidden purple in the clouds, rain rolling in sideways, bright white lightning splitting through it all.
Moving from sunny Los Angeles to the PNW changed everything for me. For us!
Perfect Storm exists because of that shift.
