Time for another reveal in the Rule of Rose collection! 🥀🐕

Mystery Scent # 8 has officially been revealed as Brown!

After everything J-Bob and Jennifer have been through, it's nice to finally have a moment where something isn't trying to chase them down a dark hallway! 😂

Brown is one of the few genuinely good souls in Rule of Rose, offering Jennifer unconditional friendship, loyalty, and comfort in a world that doesn't offer much of any of those things.

I wanted this scent to reflect that same warmth, with a comforting, masculine profile that's a little softer around the edges.

Here's what went into this one!

The bergamot and black pepper give this one a nice, clean opening, while the cardamom milk and flannel bring in that warm, cozy feeling. Himalayan cedarwood and vetiver provide a masculine, woody foundation, with sandalwood vanilla smoothing everything out.

The end result is a warm, slightly spicy, woody profile that feels like putting on your favorite flannel and enjoying a peaceful afternoon with your best four-legged friend. 😊

🌹 Mystery Scent # 7 REVEALED: JENNIFER 🌹

After everything that's happened so far... I think J-Bob has earned a chance to sit down for a minute. 😂

Mystery Scent # 7 has officially been revealed as Jennifer.

This one takes a pretty big turn from some of the darker profiles in the collection. It's softer, calmer, a little melancholy, and meant to capture one of those rare moments where everything finally feels okay... even if you can still see the storm coming in the distance.

It opens with Bergamot and Lemon, bringing in a clean citrus brightness, before Fresh Rose and Iris Santal give it a soft floral heart without pushing it overly sweet.
Then White Tea & Ginger adds a gentle warmth, Sandalwood Vanilla smooths everything out underneath, and Petrichor brings in that hint of distant rain.

🏃 Mystery Scent # 6 REVEALED: THE ARISTOCRATS: THE RED CRAYON COURT 🥀

Well... apparently J-Bob didn't take the hint after Club Room. 😂
Mystery Scent # 6 has officially been revealed as The Aristocrats: The Red Crayon Court, and this one takes the darker side of the collection and runs with it.

Literally. 😬

It opens with the sharp bite of Black Pepper, before Lemon gives it just enough brightness to make you think there might actually be a way out.

There isn't. 😂

From there, Cedar & Leather bring in that old, worn atmosphere, while Incense & Birch adds a smoky darkness underneath. Peppered Woods & Oakmoss pushes it deeper into the woods and spice, before Rosewater Oud finishes everything off with that dark, haunting floral touch that ties it back into the world of the Club Room.

🌹 Mystery Scent # 5 REVEALED: CLUB ROOM 🌹

Well... Mystery Scent # 5 has officially been unmasked, and welcome to the Club Room. 😬

At first, things don't seem too bad. Olive Leaf + Yuzu gives it a bright, almost inviting citrus opening. Maybe this place isn't so bad? They're just sitting there staring at you. What's the worst that could happen? 😂

Then the room starts to change...

Black Poppy brings in a dark floral edge, while Black Linen & Amber starts pulling everything deeper and warmer. Incense & Birch fills the room with that smoky, almost ceremonial feeling, while Charred Cedar & Spice adds a darker woody bite underneath it all.

And finally, Rosewater Oud settles in with that deep, haunting rose and oud finish.

This one took a little extra work to get right, but I'm MUCH happier with where it landed. Dark, floral, smoky, woody, and just bright enough at the beginning to give you a false sense of security. 😈

🌹 ROSE GARDEN ORPHANAGE | Formerly Mystery Scent # 4

Another Halloween mystery officially revealed! 🌹👀

If you picked up Mystery Scent # 4, you've already been standing outside the gates of the Rose Garden Orphanage.

And apparently I decided walking toward the creepy old building in the pouring rain was a good idea. 😂

This one really captures the grounds surrounding the orphanage. Green Tea and Olive Leaf & Yuzu bring a fresh green opening before the weather starts taking over. Rain, Petrichor & Salt give it that unmistakable wet, stormy atmosphere, while Virginia Cedarwood and Oakmoss & Sandalwood add the old woods and damp earth underneath.

Then there's Rosewater Oud.
Dark, woody rose that gives the entire profile that beautiful gothic edge... and reminds you exactly where you're standing. 🌹

Another one of our Halloween mysteries gets a name! 👀
If you picked up Mystery Scent # 3, you were spending a little time in the Study Room.

Probably one of the quieter stops on this little adventure... but quiet doesn't necessarily mean safe. 😂

Green Tea & Lemon give this one a clean, slightly brighter opening before the rain starts rolling in. Leather & To***co bring some warmth and age to the room, while Library surrounds everything with that unmistakable feeling of old books and weathered pages.

From there, Oakmoss & Sandalwood and earthy Vetiver take over, giving the whole profile a deep, woody finish that feels right at home behind an old desk while the storm rolls in outside.

Another mystery revealed! 😁

If you picked up Mystery Scent # 2, you've already had a little visit to Gregory’s House... whether you knew it or not. 👀

This one starts deceptively familiar and rugged, with Apple, Balsam, Pine & Cedar giving it that old countryside home feel. Bergamot adds a little brightness before Leather & Flannel start warming things up, while Petrichor & Salt bring in the damp, rainy atmosphere outside.

Then Rustic Woods settles everything into that old, weathered house...

Cozy?

Maybe.

But I'm pretty sure we're not alone in here. 😂
