1) do you know what’s inside your make up, lotions and perfumes ? Read ingredients before you purchase! Avoid fragrances and look for scents from essential oils!
2) obesogens are not just chemicals present in pesticides, they are present in lotions, soaps, perfume, make up, laundry detergent, candles, cleaning products, etc. These chemicals promote adipogenesis (fat cell production). In addition they lead to disruption of hormones.
3) exercising for more than 45 minutes increases the stress hormone cortisol which actually increases blood glucose and fat storage.
4) around 95 percent of people have detectable BPA levels in blood stream. During pregnancy BPA gets accumulated in fetus 😢 . BPA exposure is connected to cardiovascular disease, hormonal imbalances, PCOS, fertility issues, heavy menstruation, breast and prostate cancer, neurological disorders, etc.

Three legged dog, or Tri Pada Adho Mukha Svanasana helps to build hip and leg flexibility while strengthening the upper body. This pose is used mostly as a transition, but it actually prepares the body for Warrior III, Standing Splits, and Handstand.

From downward facing dog, inhale to lift your leg straight up toward the ceiling. Keep the hips squared toward the floor, avoiding the urge to open the hip of the lifted leg. Ensure that the weight remains even in both hands and shoulders are even. Maintain your gaze toward belly. Shoulders away from ears and neck relaxed. A heel on the floor will stretch the hamstring more, while lifting into your toes will stretch your hip flexor.

If you have tight hamstrings, try bending the knee of your standing leg and planting heel on the floor.

You may have heard that you need 6-9 servings of organic vegetables a day and 2-4 servings of organic fruit per day (preferably low glycemic and in the morning). Is this realistic for you?
