You can trace your story all the way back to childhood, map your attachment style, explain the pattern like you’re teaching a masterclass, and still end up in the same situation with the same type of person, same self-betrayal. The real issue is you keep doing the safe part. Thinking without acting on it.

I used to say I loved myself… but my choices told the truth.

Not self-hatred. Self-abandonment. Tolerating what hurt me. Chasing people who didn’t choose me. Over-explaining my boundaries. Begging for basic respect.
