To my loyal clients/friends/family, it’s with a sadden heart I announce my official retirement. I would like to thank each and every one is you who have poured so much support in my business and myself. This chapter of my life has been so fun, so rewarding and I couldn’t be more thankful. I have met some of the greatest people along the way. I hope you know that it was not just business for me, my craft was my passion and the friendships I developed were genuine. Joe , the Botello’s @ Laborcitybarbershop, Craig and Tiana all took a chance on me and allowed me to work at their amazing establishments and it developed who I am not just as a barber but a person. I will be eternally grateful for the opportunities they offered me over the course of my career. You will find amazing talent at each establishment and I am happy to give any personal recommendations. For now, I am taking sometime to heal mentally and physically. Dear Labor city clients… I have purchased a home in Ankeny and have made the tough decision to relocate to a new barbershop in the Ankeny/DSM area. My last day in Marshalltown will be the 18th of this month. As of now, my schedule is full, feel free to periodically check for cancellations. The new location is TBD and I will announce it ASAP, and reopen my schedule for future booking.
Thank so so much to my amazing clients who have supported me and allowed me to prepare their hair for everyday life and monumental events! It has been an absolute pleasure and I hope to see as many of you as possible at the new spot 🤗

Tony and Joel welcomed me into their shop and I could not thank them enough for this life changing opportunity. Labor city gave me more then I could have ever imagined. My life was made substantially better working at one of the greatest shops in Iowa with the best of the best. This decision was so incredibly difficult, as working with Tony, Joel, Vanessa, and Tejeda has been an absolute HONOR. I gained something working along side each and everyone of them! They have become my mentors, my barber family…. my besties for resties 🫶🏻 thank you guys.
