✨ Week 3 of the Back-to-School Reset ✨
This final week has been all about protecting energy and creating mini reset moments so moms can feel more grounded and present. 🌿
Together we explored:
🌀 Stress Triggers — noticing where energy gets drained most and recognizing patterns.
🌬 Reset Buttons — 2-minute walks, deep belly breathing, quick dance breaks, and journal brain dumps that shift energy in the moment.
🛑 Boundaries & Peace Plans — saying “no” without guilt, carving out personal time, and creating a simple roadmap for staying calm when life gets busy.
The feedback from these moms has been so powerful:
💬 “A 2-minute walk clears my head instantly.”
💬 “I actually said no without guilt this week.”
💬 “Writing my peace plan made me feel in control again.”
These shifts prove that even a few intentional minutes can transform how you feel each day. 💛
➡️ If you’re ready to create your own reset — with tools that actually fit your life — DM me “NEXT” and I’ll share how we can work together beyond this program.

Last week we focused on building simple, sustainable habits that help in feeling calmer and more in control during the busy school season. 🌿
Week one was all about creating morning & evening anchors. Now, it’s time to practice consistency and see how those small shifts start to change the way your days feel. 💛
➡️ Even if you’re not in the program, take a minute today to think about:
👉 What one small routine could make your mornings or evenings flow easier this week?
I’m so proud of the moms in this program already making changes — you’re proving that little steps add up big. 🙌

Health Coaching Client Testimonial:
“Above and beyond everything I could have expected with support, listening, and resources and guidance that exceeded exceptions.
Since starting the coaching program I have noticed more confidence, overall positivity, and energy. I have noticed how I feel eating certain foods, and are now able to have a conversation while walking without issue. My mental health, and feelings about myself have improved and I feel less overwhelmed about life in general. The strategies I’ve learned with setting small and attainable goals have easily transitioned into long-term habits. I have learned that small goals that can be easily achieved gives me motivation and confidence to keep going. The exercise, healthier eating habits, pre-planning meals, scheduling time for priorities and time for myself, as well as my sleeping habits have all become a part of my lifestyle now. During this coaching program over the last six months, I have learned that I can do whatever I need to do, and I have a different kind of confidence in myself now. I have confidence in being able to achieve the goals I want to achieve, I am determined and dedicated. I wasn’t expecting to experience the overall mental health improvement that I was able to achieve. This improvement stemming from healthy eating, sleep and a change in habits, I now feel like an overall different person from when I started. I learned how mindful I can be of my own body, and how being mindful of simple things like exercise, sleep, and food can be incredibly impactful to pay attention to and learn from. This health coaching program with Colleen is completely life changing, it gave me a different perspective on how to take care of myself and my family, I highly recommended this process.”

Health Coaching Client Testimonial:
“First I’d like say I’ve never really been open to expressing my feeling with others. I’m used to bottling up everything inside and pushing forward. When I saw an opportunity to meet with Colleen it helped knowing she was a fellow police officers wife and would understand more than most what we go through. She has helped me fight the battles I was struggling with, both mentally and physically. Every conversation we have had, and continue to have is progress and leaps forward in the right direction to being the best version of myself.” - Tre

Health Coaching Client Testimonial:
“My top three goals upon starting the coaching program were to develop clarity around my personal goals, align my life mission to professional endeavors, and to increase my ability to self regulate the bumps in my journey. Colleen was able to help me to clarify what I was able to control and adjust in my own (thought) process. Colleen was able to help me look at a larger picture holistically and the vision for my life. The biggest tangible change I’ve noticed since beginning the program has been committing to and executing self care. I eat differently, drink more water, journal and am accountable to tracking gratitude. The most significant overall change I’ve noticed has been the increase in my ability to keep the holistic (life) picture in my mind. I have also been clearer about my values and how they align with my professional journey.
I would describe Colleen Dittman as compassionate and thoughtful. She physically and mentally “shows up” to our sessions and allows me the space to BE. She is not controlling in a session, nor condescending, we work in a partnership and I value what she offers. I would recommend Colleen to help in developing and refining a life plan, aligning daily life to a mission driven life practice. She is very helpful as an active listener to help clear away mental and emotional clutter to develop vision for next steps (personally, professionally and emotionally.)
I engaged Colleen during a time of professional transition, specifically looking at how to sign my core beliefs with my professional aspirations. My career has not been linear and I needed the absence of judgement, a strategic partner. Colleen was able to help me clear out some cobwebs and realign with my priorities. “

Which of these can you relate to?
💥 Constantly overwhelmed
💥 Easily irritated or on edge
💥 Anxious for no reason
💥 Feeling “wired but tired”
💥 Overly sensitive to noises or smells
💥 Muscle tension or pain
💥 Indigestion or other gut troubles
These could all be signs of a dysregulated nervous system—a state where your body is stuck in overdrive, often due to ongoing stress, past trauma, or pushing yourself too hard for too long. In this state, your body is in a constant “fight or flight” response, driven by the sympathetic nervous system, and has trouble switching to the “rest and digest” state of the parasympathetic system.
Human beings aren’t designed to be in a constant state of stress. Whether you’re constantly rushed for time, stuck in a pattern of worry, skipping meals, overexercising, living on caffeine, or feeling unsafe, your nervous system will pay the price.
The initial physiologic response to stress activates the sympathetic nervous system (“fight or flight”), followed by cortisol production. While cortisol helps control inflammation, chronic stress can cause it to become dysregulated, leaving inflammation unchecked.
👉🏽 Nervous system regulation is key in addressing any condition driven by chronic inflammation.
So, how can you regulate your nervous system? There are two main approaches:
1️⃣ In the moment: When you notice you’re triggered, step away and take deep breaths to calm yourself down.
2️⃣ Daily practice: Incorporate habits that signal safety to your nervous system, such as:
✨ Deep breathing (activates the vagus nerve and resets the nervous system)
✨ Mindful movement (stretch, shake, or dance to release tension)
✨ Intentional rest (rest on purpose, not just when you’re exhausted)
These practices tell your body that it’s safe to heal. Over the next few weeks, I’ll share tips on how to regulate your nervous system through foods, nutrients, rest, and habits.
