Henna Pack for Hair

What You Need:
1 cup of dry henna
1/2 cup yogurt
What You Need To Do

Make a pack by mixing the dry henna powder with yogurt. Apply it all over your hair from the roots to tips. Leave the pack on until it dries off completely. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo.

How Often Should You Do This: You can apply the henna pack once in a month.

Why This Works: Henna acts as a natural conditioner and transforms dull and dry hair to smooth and shiny hair. It adds color as well. It promotes hair growth by strengthening the roots of your hair.

Egg Mask

What You Need:
1 egg white
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon honey
What You Need To Do

Why This Works: Egg is rich in proteins, sulfur, zinc, iron, selenium, phosphorous and iodine. The high protein content makes eggs one of the best ingredients that promote hair growth.

A TWISTED HALO

What to do:

1.Twist back a small section of hair from one side of your head, and secure it with a pin in the middle of your head.

2.Twist back a small section of hair from the other side of your head, tuck it behind the first twisted section, and pin it in the middle of your head.

UNPOLISHED BUN

What to do:

1.Twist textured hair into a bun. (Dirty hair works best since it doesn't slip out of styles easily, but you can always fake two-day texture by spraying it with dry shampoo to create extra grip.)

2.Insert a gold pin through the right side of the bun with the open ends toward the left side of the bun.

DOUBLE-KNOTTED PONY

What to do:

1.Separate your hair into two sections, and tie them together in a low knot.

2.Tie the two sections in a knot again, and secure the pony with a hair tie under the second knot. Wrap a piece of hair around the hair tie to conceal it.

All-Natural Curls

Getting these sexy, lush curls comes down to your hair texture. Those with straight hair will need to wrap one-inch sections around a three-quarter-inch curling iron, spritzing with firm-hold hair spray along the way (in other words, see you in an hour or two). Those born with these amazing curls can stretch them slightly by combing styling cream—like Suave Professionals Sleek Anti-Frizz Cream—through damp hair and then blow-drying with the nozzle. Use your fingers to open and separate the curls until the hair is soft, dry, and airy.

Rumpled Waves

Smooth hair looks high maintenance. For easy waves like these, spray volumizer (like Phyto Phytovolume Actif Volumizer Spray) through damp hair and blow-dry your hair upside down. Once your hair is 75 percent dry, part it in the middle and twist it into two low pigtail buns, leaving the ends out so they stay straight. Aim the blow-dryer at the buns for several minutes until they're dry, mist them with hair spray (like Big Sexy Hair Get Layered Layering Hairspray), undo the pins, and shake your hair out in all its rumpled glory.

Ombre Highlights

Ombré hair shouldn't look like a black-and-yellow Rothko painting. Instead, ask your colorist for highlights that are just barely lighter than your natural hue, working them into the ends and in random sections throughout (rather than perfectly spaced ones). Leave the roots untouched, and you won't have to touch up your color for up to six months.
