There are a variety of things we can do to keep our skin healthy and vibrant. But do you know that your immune system plays a crucial role in keeping your skin healthy, too?

Our immune system is not just limited to fighting viruses and germs. It profoundly impacts our skin as well!

Your skin is finely tied to your immune system because it serves as the first layer of defense against viruses and germs.

Since your skin is your primary defense mechanism against infections, it is packed with immune cells – this includes around 20 billion T-cells! Some cells, like keratinocytes, which are primarily responsible for producing keratin, will communicate to any nearby immune cells when harmful foreign particles such as antigens are detected.

That’s how integrated your immune system is with your skin. A strong immune system means healthy skin and, conversely, a weak immune system will have adverse effects on your skin.

So the question is how can you boost your immune system?🤔

👉Regular Exercise

👉Manage your stress

👉Healthy Diet

At E SKIN FORTE we believe
"Acne is a disease. Not a condition or a 'stage through maturity. It is not a punishment something you did wrong or failed to do right.
You didn’t give yourself ache. You don't deserve to have it."

We want you to love your skin and be confident about it 🥰🥰

Which one of these myths do you believe in?

👉Drying out your skin will clear breakouts:
Drying out your skin will NOT clear your acne. This can actually make the problem worse and kick your oil production into overdrive.

👉Skip moisturizer if you have acne: Maintaining your skins hydration is key while
treating acne! Finding the moisturiser that works best for your specific skin type/condition
is extremely important. An aesthetician can help analyze your skin and decide what could work best.

👉Greasy foods cause acne:
Greasy foods are NOT the cause of acne. Acne is a skin
condition caused from both intrinsic and extrinsic
factors- the foods you consume can cause
inflammation and make acne worse, but it's not the
actual cause.

👉Popping your pimples will get rid of them faster!
Picking at your skin will make the breakouts worse.. don't do it! Between bacteria spreading and the possibility of scarring- leave this to your Esthetician!

👉Acne can only be treated by adermatologist:
Dermatologists are highly educated and well
respected, but I will say that Instead of placing a Bandaid on skin problems- Estheticians will heal the skin from the inside out! We have
access to so many high end skincare lines and
treatments that will effectively treat acne!

👉Stronger products work better:
Stronger products are not always Better!
When treating acne, we want to calm irritation
and inflammation! Harsh products will only
make acne worse and prolong results!

Be more VIGILANT! 👀Check your skincare ingredients.
Check your skincare, body and hair product ingredients label.
If you're constantly breaking out, you MUST consider double checking all of your skincare, make up, and hair product ingredient label. This is crucial part of breaking the acne cycle.

Why do you need to check your products? 🤔Ingredients that often marketed as All Natural, Plant Based, Botanical, Marine derived etc. is often formulated with ingredients that can be problematic when using by an acne prone individual. Heavy emollient, Oil like Coconut oil, Isopropyl Myristate and Algae/Seaweed is highly comedogenic will likely clog your pore, irritate the follicle lining and initiate the formation of microcomedone. Which is the very beginning of an acne.

Visit your trusted Acne Specialist so they can help and guide you on how to find an acne safe products.😌😌

Acne is a mysterious disorder but We Take the Mystery Out of Acne but one thing is for sure – it can be controlled with the right combination of products used in the correct way. Just as in a clogged drain, the pore must be treated with products that unclog it, keep it unclogged and kill the acne bacteria.

E SKIN Forté has a clear-skin system that will have your acne under control in about three-to- four months
depending on your type of acne. We combine the power of clinical-grade home-care
products that are
customized for your type of acne and skin with a series of
bi-monthly treatments that facilitate the clearing
of your skin.

Are you ready to start your treatment?🤔☺️

It is very important to understand the different types of acne👇

👉Non inflamed acne: Dead skin cells and oil (plus other debris) form a plug inside the pore. If this plug does not become inflamed, it can become a whitehead — a non-inflamed lesion under the skin, also called a “closed comedone.” This is also called “maturation arrest” acne, as it has not “matured” into a blackhead yet. There is another non-inflamed acne lesion called a blackhead, where the pore remains open, also known as an “open comedone.” In the case of a blackhead, the tip of the plug darkens as it is exposed to oxygen in the environment.

👉Inflamed acne: As the oil and the dead skin cells build up, they put pressure on the cells surrounding the pore. With enough pressure, the sides of the pore rupture
and the contents of the pore leak into the surrounding skin. Because this
material contains a lot of P. acnes bacteria, the surrounding skin now becomes infected, creating a red bump that we know as a pimple. The medical term for this red bump is an inflammatory papule. This is a pustule which is different from a pimple only in that it contains white blood cells
When the immune system fights off the P. acnes infection the white blood cells, which are soldiers of the immune system - pile up, creating pus in the pore. In addition to papules, nodules can also form. A nodule is a solid dome-shaped lesion that extends below the surface, deep into the layers of
the skin. Scarring is common with nodules and can sometimes leave an impaction behind, which can flare again and again. When a group of pustules cluster together under the skin, they form a cyst. An acne cyst can appear similar to a nodule, but is pus-filled, and can have a diameter of 5mm or more across. They are usually very painful and scarring is also common with cysts.

ACNE REMINDER- once your skin is clear that doesnt mean you stop caring for it!

Also keep in mind everybody's acne healing journey is different and you cannot compare yours to somebody else's! What clears your acne will be needed to maintain your clear skin!
maintenance will look different for everybody there's no one-size-fits-all!

For example- skipping your skincare routine can
cause an acne flare up. Or eating inflammatory foods such as dairy can trigger it aswell!

So you went a little hard on the acids or got sucked into picking a pimple and now your skin is red and inflamed. Don't worry it happens to everyone at some point. Here are my esti-approved tips for dealing with skin inflammation.

✨Simplify your routine. For the next few days (or as long as it takes for your skin to heal) use the bare minimum when it comes to your skincare. A good cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF are enough.

✨Skip the acids and actives.

✨Stay out of the sun. Your skin is compromised and
more susceptible to sun damage.

✨Give it time. Your skin needs to heal!

✨Don't exfoliate your skin. Give your moisture barrier
time to heal.

✨Keep your fingers away.

If you’re suffering from acne then book consultation call with me and let’s get some in-depth about your skin 😌

Let’s answer the real questions 👇

The true advanced hand method of Sugaring, uses a soft ball of sugar paste. Your esthetician uses a gloved hand at all times and the sugar is a little warmer than room temperature. The sugar paste is molded into the hair follicle, opposite the direction of hair growth. The sugar paste is then “flicked” in the natural direction of hair growth removing the entire hair from the follicle wall. The same ball of sugar is used for entire area to be sugared.

❔What are the advantages and benefits of Sugaring Hair Removal?

Sugar paste contains no chemicals or resins, it is hypoallergenic and safe for all skin types. Diabetics, those with eczema, spider or varicose veins and those prone to breakouts and ingrown hairs after waxing, will benefit from Sugaring. Body Sugaring is sanitary. Sugar is naturally anti-bacterial and contains healing properties. Bacteria does not breed or thrive in sugar. Sugar paste is applied at room temperature so there is never a risk in burning the skin.

Body sugaring is water soluble, meaning you can easily clean any residue with plain water unlike regular wax. You will never have a leftover sticky or tacky residue. Again, a skilled and experienced wax technician will ensure you are cleaned properly of all wax residue. Hair can be removed at less than 1/8th of an inch hair growth, depending on the person) as opposed to waxing which requires 1/4th inch re-growth.

Over time, sugaring regularly during the beginning stage of hair growth (Anagen), the follicle wall will begin to weaken. This causes hair to grow back thinner and finer.

According to the nurses at Aesthetics Plus, an esthetic medical training facility, Sugaring has the same success rate as laser😏😏

Acne can be triggered by any of these factors

Hormones 👉When estrogen levels drop approximately two weeks after menstruation, testosterone, an androgen,
stimulates the oil glands. Oil production increases, making an acne flare-up much more likely. So likely, in fact, that over 60% of acne-prone women get premenstrual acne, hormonal acne flares which occur about 7-10 days before their periods.

Stress 👉 Research shows that acne severity correlates highly with increased stress. Primarily, stress stimulates the adrenal gland and in the acne-prone individual, and the adrenal gland promotes oil production which leads to clogged pores.

Diet👉 Food contains high iodides. Iodized salt, seafood, fish, seaweed, fast foods and dairy products. Milk and cheese is another BIG culprit - not only does it have iodides, it also has hormones in it that contribute to acne.

Lifestyle👉 Smoking can be a culprit when it comes to acne. According to German researchers from
Technical University of Munich, report the results of a study which found that smoking is a clinically important contributory factor to acne prevalence and severity.

Medications👉 Vitamin supplements and sports drinks/bars that again high in iodides. Vitamins almost always contain some form of iodide - it could be in the form of iodine, iodide, potassium iodide or kelp. Most forms of birth control can have the potential to cause acne and weight gain in those susceptible. As a general rule of thumb, those with the potential for higher androgenic symptoms should avoid birth control because in people prone to acne it can promote or worsen acne.

Skincare 👉 Do not ever put anything on your skin or your hair without checking the ingredients first because but still have pore clogging ingredients in their formulas
