Hello beautiful people! I've had a few questions about the difference between body butter and lotion so I thought I'd share this👇🏽info with y'all!💗

Most store bought lotions and body products contain chemicals. Even the ones that are marketed as "natural" so I always advise label reading, check those ingredient lists! The chemicals are literally toxic to your body. Lotion is made up of mostly water. The more water a product contains, the more susceptible it is to the formation of harmful bacteria. As a result, lotions are filled with preservatives (chemicals) and fragrances (more chemicals).

Body butter has become a trending alternative to lotion. There is no water in most body butters including NATTY body butter, therefore there is no need for preservatives and artificial fragrances. Body butter also is usually thicker than lotion. This makes body butter great for spreading all over your skin for long-lasting moisture.
