If you feel puffy and heavy, more pressure is usually the wrong fix.

Fluid sitting in the tissues feels dull, swollen, and foggy. Knots feel tight and specific. Those are different problems. Lymphatic work uses very light, directional touch to help stagnant fluid move. It is not deep tissue. The point is to leave lighter, not sore.

Good reasons to include it: morning puffiness, long days of sitting or driving, swelling after travel, that heavy feeling stretching never quite clears.

Reasons to skip it: fever or infection, a known clot, unmanaged heart or kidney issues. If you just want deep work and don’t feel swollen, we won’t spend the whole session on lymph.

I come to you in Asheville and the surrounding Blue Ridge communities. You can book a full lymphatic session — or use 15–30 minutes of drainage inside a custom massage and spend the rest on the techniques your body is asking for. Swedish, myofascial, PNF stretching, deep tissue, craniosacral. The time is yours.
