Our Mattify Shampoo Bar is one of our best sellers. Best for oily hair, the hand-pressed bar is made with gentle sulfate-free surfactants derived from coconuts and also contains neem and moringa powders, as well as a few hair and scalp-loving essential oils.

1. Who exactly is INA & ZO for?

Our shampoo bars are gentle cleansers and sulfate free. This is great for *all hair textures*, from wispy fine to thick and coarse. Hair is cleansed without feeling stripped. Our shampoo bars are also:

All of our ingredients are either natural or naturally derived. Many are organic and all of our preservatives are ECOCERT approved.

We use candelilla wax instead of beeswax in this version as the moisture locking agent.
A few other key ingredients:

Focus on healthy hair and your good hair days will be many!
🌿I started focusing on plant-based hair care a couple of years ago when I last colored my hair.
🌍Much of what I wanted to do with INA&ZO was offer good-for-you products in an way (i.e., no single use plastics, less water waste, environmentally friendly packaging and shipping).
👩🏾🦱My hair is thankful for it and flourishing because of it. And yours can be, too! If you take the time to focus on ingredients and making sure they are natural or naturally derived (whether with INA&ZO, another brand, or anything you make for yourself!).
My healthy hair routine:
👉🏾Scalp massages with scalp oil 2-3 times a week.
👉🏾Zero waste, solid shampoo bar.
👉🏾Unravel detangling conditioner after every shampoo.
👉🏾Babassu Cream as a moisturizer for twists, then every other day on my ends.
👉🏾Daily hair tea spritzes.
👉🏾Protective styles 75% of the time.
Focus on health and the rest will come. Also, back away from anything that promises 4 inches of hair growth in 1 week. I'm not saying they are lying; I'm just saying science is important!
